Is there going to be a pre-tribulaton rapture of the church? That is what most Christian teach today, but is that what the Bible actually says? When you take a closer look at the Scriptures that speak of us being gathered home to Jesus, you quickly realize that they are all speaking of the exact same event. Just compare Matthew 24:29-31, 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. You will notice they all describe us being caught up to meet the Lord at the last "trumpet". In Matthew 24, Jesus clearly states that this event happens after the Tribulation. So is the rapture of the Church in the book of Revelation? Yes it is. In fact, it is right there exactly where you would expect to find it right between the blowing of the last trumpet and the pouring out of the first bowl. In Revelation 11, the last trumpet sounds (on Rosh Hashanah). In Revelation 14:14-16 we see the rapture described. In Revelation 15 we see the raptured church in heaven. In Revelation 16 we see the last seven bowls of wrath poured out. In Revelation 19 we see the wedding supper of the Lamb. Later on in Revelation 19 we see the saints returning with Jesus on Yom Kippur. This return is also described in Zechariah 14 and in the book of Joel. Everything is just in the order it should be. We will be raptured on Rosh Hashanah at the end of the Tribulation period. About 10 days later we will return with Jesus to this earth on Yom Kippur and the Antichrist will be defeated.
