they charged me 85.55 twice in one month for tea I didn't order. I sent the tea back and notified the cc company NOT to accept their charges. How do companies get away with this???
  • Shocked Oct 25, 2008 @ 8:56 am | delete
Wow. I wish I'd found all this info BEFORE it happened to me too! I'm in the process of disputing the charge on my CC and blocking my card from any further charges from this company. Uhggg.... well, learned not to order online! Especially 'free trial' samples (that don't arrive until after you've been charged $70.00)!

I've actually had some pretty good fat loss results using this product. In fact I've even recommended it to a few of my friends who are trying to lose weight. Just thought I'd let everyone know...

I've been using the Ultra Lean Green drink mix for 3 weeks and have lost over 8 pounds without really increasing my exercise level or changing my lifestyle. I have noticed a BIG decrease in appetite. If it keeps giving me these good results I have no problem continuing to pay for it on a month to month basis! Like the person below me said, be sure to read the fine print and know what you're agreeing to before you do the free trial!

I was also ripped off. Their listed phone number was canceled - so there is no way to even contact them. This is more than a rip-off, it is fraud!

I'll tell you why its fraud, I ordered the free sample. The 4.95 showed up on my account, not a problem. Then there was a chg for 34.95 for the pills to go with it, THAT I DID NOT ORDER, then I got the 69 charge for the monthly fee after my trial period, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE "FREE TRIAL". When I called customer svc, the guy was extremely rude, and told me it was up to me to let them know I hadn't received the free trial, like I'm supposed to know their shipment schedule, Then they told me it would be 10 days before they put my money back in the bank. I am definetly contacting the BBB and the attorney general!

Everyone... this is not fraud... I ordered it and am waiting on my shipment. Because I read what it stated and checked the "yes I understand" box... then I agree to be charged 70 bucks a month until I cancel. Do not blame the company, because you did not pay attention to detail.

hey all i tried this stuff because i need to lose about 20 lbs. thought the "free trial" deal sounded good but as everyone who's ordered has found out it's not a great deal at all. first the stuff taste "ok" and gives you a little bit of energy but it's definitely nothing to write home about. i think i'll stick with my diet rockstar energy drink for now lol!! anyway i don't plan on ordering again and i've already cancelled the original order i made. anyone have a review for these "acai berry" products i keep seeing everywhere?? all i want is a simple easy weight loss and energy booster product that TASTES GOOD!! is that so hard to create?!??

Wow, so i guess i'm not the only one out there that got charged the $70 for something i was not aware of. I recieved thier product but its literally some flavored water, i barely get any extra energy from drinking it, instead i have to force myself to drink it down. The flavors are not that great either. I'm going to dispute this charge with my credit card services being that i never authorized that charge of $71.44 on my account. I am also going to report them to the BBB(better buisness bureau) for riping us all off.
thanks for you inputs! It helped me learn a valuable lesson.

Okay, I have had the same HORRIBLE experiences with this Ultra Lean transaction as many of the others have posted here. Their customer no-service-stinks! I called them to make sure I cancelled after reading these entries. Not only did I wait for over 7 minutes to talk with someone, but after talking with someone I got a confirmation number that was FAKE!!! I called my credit card, and of course, they had charged me the extra $70. I called the company (Ultra Lean) back to speak with a supervisor and gave them the confirmation number to make sure things went well-NO SUCH NUMBER! I had just called not even 10 minutes before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!! People, don't give these theives your card number!!!!!!!!

Was disappoint with the lack of results. Was even more disappointed in the unexpected monthly bill of $74.24. Don't waste your time or money.

THIS STUFF IS CRAP! they do NOT tell you very clearly about the 69.87 charge after the 14 day FREE trial. so, you end up paying 74.82!! when you include the 4.95 shipping and handeling charge! it's ridiculouse. it dosen't even work! and it's flavor is more like crap than oranges and cream or berry whatever....DONT BUY THIS JUNK!!
  • Lola Sep 29, 2008 @ 10:02 am | delete
Total rip-off! They refused to provide an customer service at all. I will be initiating a chargeback with my bank and contacting the appropriate government agencies.

They are going to steal your money. They will charge you 70$ every month for their tea. Everyone tells you to read the small print, but it does not say that it will charge you 70$ every month after your free trial. It does not taste good, and it doesn't work at all. Do NOT give them your credit card information!!!

I usually read a lot of reviews before buying a product. In another review page someone brought up a great point. Just pay with one of those pay as you go credit cards. If there is no funds they can't charge you or trace you.hehe

i've this ultra lean green tea stuff for a couple of weeks now. did the free trial and it was delivered pretty quick. it tastes good and gave me some energy but overall i haven't lost too much weight. i was hoping to lose at least 10 pounds before the end of the month. guess i need to stop eating all those french frieds hahahaha. has anyone had any better results using this stuff? if so, did you change your diet too??
  • Maxie L Sep 23, 2008 @ 8:55 pm | delete
I ordered the ultra lean green product a few weeks ago and have been using it daily for about a week now. it's definitely a good energy booster, better than the energy drinks i used to drink every day because it doesn't jack you up then drop you on your head like they do. so for i've only lost about a pound and a half but hopefully that will increase in the next few weeks!
  • Read Small Print Sep 23, 2008 @ 12:01 pm | delete
Companies tout the convenience for consumers to be automatically billed after the trial period. What they are actually counting on is 1) people not reading the small print, and 2) people forgetting to call and cancel. They purposely make it so easy to order, and put it on US to cancel. Always print out the order page, the small print is usually on there with a phone number (as UltraGreenLean did). If you have an additional compliant about the way it marketed to consumers you can contact the Attorney General on how to proceed.

If it's extremely easy to order something online - STOP - go to www.bbb.com or use your search engine for example "UltraGreenLean and Complaints" BEFORE placing an order.

I have not tried this product because I'm afraid I'll forget to call and cancel. That's exactly what they are counting on!
  • Informed Consumer Sep 23, 2008 @ 11:49 am | delete
Unfortunately, it's not fraud based on the small print in their ad. *You have to READ the small print* Anytime a company gives you a TRIAL period and askes for a credit card, that's the red flag to look for "the small print". And, they WILL continue to bill for monthly shipments UNTIL YOU contact them to cancel.

I ordered UltraGreenLean for the trial $4.95 now they are sending it each month and charging my account. This is fraud.
