This aquarium has been given two bad reviews but after reading them I think that only part of the problem is related to the tank design. Mainly the size and the related cords. Most people do not consider the cords that must be run to/from their "coffee table" and I think that is a major turn off when they set up the tank. The other issue mentioned was the gap between the top and the sides. I think not filling the tank as full would probably get rid of the problem of fish jumping out.

- While Most of these aquariums are attractive they are all woefully Inappropriate for fish. It's common knowledge that most aquarium fish swim horizontially and to force them to swim verticall all the time in a tall aquarium like the Aqua Tower is simply cruel. Most fish wouldn't even be able to turn around in that "Picture frame aquarium" and I can tell you right off the bat that cleaning a crazy shaped aquarium is a big pain in the butt. Why not just save cash and buy an attractive regular aquarium that will actually keep a good amount of fish clean and happy Instead of wasting money on stupid gimmicks? And I don't even want to go into how TINY those bowls are for the poor Bettas in those pics..It's just insane.
