A Sneak Peak at Tennessee Volunteers basketball (Men)
The Tennessee Volunteers basketball team represents the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee in NCAA men's basketball competition. (Women's teams at the school, which has a completely separate women's athletic program, are known as "Lady Volunteers".) The Volunteers currently compete in the Southeastern Conference. The team last played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2008. The Volunteers are currently coached by Bruce Pearl.
A peek sneak at the Tennessee Lady Volunteers basketball
The Tennessee Lady Volunteers basketball team is one of the most prominent teams in U.S. women's college basketball. Coached by Pat Summitt, the team has been a contender for national titles for over thirty years, having made every NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Championship tournament since the NCAA began sanctioning women's sports in the 1981-82 season.
The team is more frequently referred to as the Lady Vols; the formal "Volunteers" nickname is regularly shortened by many fans of both men's and women's teams to "Vols", and sports media in the U.S. more commonly refer to Tennessee women's teams by the shortened version. The university considers either "Lady Volunteers" or "Lady Vols" acceptable.
The Lady Vols have won 14 SEC regular season championships, most recently in 2007, 13 SEC tournament championships, most recently in 2008, made 18 Final Four appearances, most recently in 2008, and won 8 national championships, most recently in 2008.
I predict that the Volunteer Men's Basketball will make the final four before Bruse Pearl leaves as coach!

Sing along time: Good Ole Rocky Top
Rocky Top you'll always be home sweet home to me
Good ole Rocky Top, Rocky Top Tennessee, Rocky Top Tennessee
Wish that I was on ole Rocky Top down in the Tennessee hills
Ain't no smoggy smoke on Rocky Top ain't no telephone bills (same chords
Once I had a girl on Rocky Top half bear other half cat as the first
Wild as a mink but sweet as soda pop I still dream about that line)
Once 2 strangers climbed ole Rocky Top looking for a moonshine still
Strangers ain't come down from Rocky Top reckon they never will
Corn don't grow at all on Rocky Top ground's too rocky by far
That's why all the folks on Rocky Top drink their corn from a jar
I've had years of cramped up city life trapped like a duck in a pen
All I know is it's a pity life can't be simple again
