UKT Racing




UKT Racing faced problems with regards to the limited levels of interactivity offered on their previous website. Urbanmedia were able to combat these problems through the use of various devices that enhanced the content and interactive elements of the site. Enhancements included a 'count down to next race function' as well as 'automatic photo rotation' with regular updating and downloads for fans. Lastly, desktop customisation was offered, aiding an increase in team loyalty.

 

Best Cruise Deal




Our client wanted to create a specialist cruise comparison site A site was needed in order to provide consumers with information about the many cruise lines, specific ships and destinations. As a cruise specialist for many years, Paul Frost saw the potential and developed the idea with Urban Media. It was clear from the outset that the site needed to combine a lot of helpful information for visitors new to cruising, whilst making it quick for visitors who simply needed to view the best deals.

Urban Media worked closely with Paul to develop a site which is so simple to use - yet behind the scenes, an extremely powerful database-driven content management system, with many automated features, does the hard work. As a result, the site delivers an impressive user experience by delivering relevant content at the right detail level to suit various requirements. Extensive tracking has been built into the site to observe user interactions in order to continually improve the visitor experience as the site develops.

 

Universal Air Tools




Universal Air Tools had a website that was out of date and no longer represented them in a positive light. Pages were difficult to update, and experience had proved it was not very visitor-friendly. While there was a full database management system for all of the company's products, which was maintained on a regular basis offline, there was no connection to this from the website, so data had to be entered twice, leading to delays and errors.

An entirely new site with content management system was built. The site is much more visually attractive, and easier for visitors to use - increasing online interest in the Universal Air Tool range. Thanks to improved content management, an administrator at Universal Air Tools with no special skills can easily update the website database from the offline record, a quick duplicating operation that reads pages automatically.

 

Compare Currency




The currency exchange market was quite dull. Compare Currency wanted to take the simple, user-friendly approach seen on other price comparison sites and apply that to showing the best foreign currency rates. They knew that like many online businesses, the success of the site would rely heavily on visitor numbers.

Urban Media worked with Compare Currency to analyse all of the areas that could be simplified, and devised a plan for the site along with a suitable internet marketing plan to support the business activity that the website was expected to deliver. London UK Chaffeurs




London (UK) Chaffeurs required a first time website. As a new business, they had a simple requirement to gain a web presence, but they did need to generate new business enquiries from the website.

Urban Media provided a new, clean, corporate site with online booking. The implementation of a booking system allowed London Chauffeurs to generate online interest and sales. The solution was low cost and allowed the company to evaluate the opportunity and return a profit from the project quickly, allowing for further ongoing investment at low risk.

 

ID bespoke




ID bespoke were very successful with a face to face measure and tailor service, however they realised that to break out of their local geographic boundary they must sell online. Their existing site represented the company well but was not scaleable and did not receive search engine traffic.

Urban Media worked with ID bespoke to devise an online, self measure system. The system allows a user to be guided through taking personal measurements, and choosing various options for their clothing. Initially focusing on shirts, users are offered various choices from fabrics to cuff style and can buy a totally bespoke, made to measure shirt. Despite the complexity of the system, Urban Media ensured the new site carried much of the original look and feel. The new site is easy to use and fully scaleable.

Micronics managed their website successfully in-house, but wanted to make more use of the internet to promote their business both at home and abroad. Despite external advice, the website was not grasping the opportunity presented by search engines in such a niche area. This was leading to growing Pay per Click spend. Micronics realised that long term success meant being at the top of the natural listings across various search engines in multiple countries.

Urban Media advised the site would need a fresh structure, in order to reach sustainable first page listings. A cumbersome content management system meant Securicare Medical had allowed their previous site to date. Whilst the system was quite extensive, and although personnel had received training, in practice it was too difficult to use.

After analysis, it was decided that a fresh start design would best suit Securicare's needs. Although some areas of the site did need to be content managed, it was agreed that producing the majority of the site as regular web pages was not only more cost effective but also allowed for a greater flexibility. By redesigning the site from the user's point of view, the conversion rate would be significantly improved. The result is a stylish site that has regular updates and uses various multimedia elements to greatly improve the visitor experience and ultimately provide higher conversion rates.

Escape Currency had been successfully using the internet to generate new business leads through a lead generation site, but the frequency of leads had declined.
