UWC-USA transforms lives. It engages deserving young people from over 80 countries in the vital work of creating a future of peace and sustainability. It takes two years to START, and its alumni take the work forward as they make their lives in every corner of the globe. UWC-USA makes education a force to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.

UWC-USA brings Palestinians and Israelis, Iraqis and Americans, Indians and Pakistanis, and youth from every other region together in an intense, residential environment. These students learn to relate to each other on human, deeply personal levels, and they learn to appreciate differences while recognizing commonality. They take these discoveries back to Jerusalem, Baghdad, Detroit, Quito, Madrid, and Mumbai, and live their lives as informed, international citizens.

If we want to have world peace someday, we need to create truly global thinkers, and this school is doing just that.
