Virginia is a PRO-EMPLOYER State (Commonwealth really)... and what that means for so many innovative and creative people, is that they are being asked to sign Non-Compete Employment Contracts which limit their ability to start their own business, etc.

Although Frith Law Firm is in Roanoke (the pretty part of Virginia) we can help with your Non-Compete no matter where you or your business is located.

My mission

To help folks make a living, start a business- whatever they need to do to be their best self! We want to help those employees faced with non-compete agreements (signed, un-signed, old or new). We review non-compete agreements, defend cases where Employers sue for breach of contract, etc.

Although the law in Virginia states that non-compete agreements are "disfavored" as they limit an individual's right to earn a living, they are cropping up in almost every industry.

Every good business has a blog.

We are always updating the Blog with news on recent case victories, Virginia judicial decisions, general insight etc. Please Book Mark it - even if you don't have a problem with your Non-Compete today, this crazy economy could change things quicker than you realize.
