These are beautiful books. The color reproductions of fine paintings are as wonderful as those found in many art history textbooks. The writing is simple and not terribly obtrusive. You could read what is written or simply narrate the paintings to your child. These books are fascinating even to small babies and at the same time don't cause the adult to suffer in the slightest. Excellent!
