Welcome to Stanley Park - Scenic Tourist Attraction

Stanley Park is truly one of the most beautiful parks to tour. A scenic park with endless activities and attractions for all ages. This park is well known around the world for it's beauty and serenity! It is situated right in the middle of downtown Vancouver. Surrounded by a 10.5 kilometer Seawall that is constantly in use by walkers, joggers, cyclers and rollerbladers. The oceanviews are amazing, a photographers dream! There are several ways to view this park, either by driving around it or walking, cycling or rollerblading. The drive is approximately 6 miles around the park giving you ample opportunity to view all it's landmarks. I will share some of my photography of the park and lots of great information here.

Stanley Park is filled with beautiful gardens. A rose garden that when in bloom offers a breathtaking look at several varieties of roses. Roses in every shade and color imaginable. There are also Rhododendron gardens to wander through, huge bushes of these grow in beautiful colors. There are walkways and little trails to wander around throughout the immense park.

There are many great little spots to stop and rest your feet, like one of the many benches situated in the park! Bring a snack or stop at one of the little cafe's or concession stands nearby. Families pack picnic lunches to eat on the large grass area or sit and relax on in the sunshine on one of the beautiful beaches located near the seawall. There is a children's playground and water park too! Also a large heated outdoor swimming pool where kids can have hours of fun!
