Vancouver Winter Olympics

The 2010 Winter Olympics just finished in Vancouver B.C. Canada. They started with the tragic death of Luge athlete Nodar Kumaritashvili and ended with one of the best gold medal Men's Hockey games ever. The Games are Officially known as the XXI Olympic Winter Games or the 21st Winter Olympics. The Olympics are a global event with over 82 different countries with teams competing in 86 different winter sports.
I just love the Olympics for a few reasons
1. Every participant is absolutely giving it everything they have to win for their country
2. The variety of different of sports and athleticism involved
3. It brings together almost the entire world for a couple of weeks

In my opinion, this was the greatest sports story of all time. The movie does as good a job as can be done to capture the moment. The U.S. Olympic hockey team to say they were underdogs is putting it mildly. Enjoy the movie.
