Voyage Century releases the new Doom Treasure patch. New items and a new upgraded ship are available for players that create a new character.
Doom Treasure, Why is it important?
Included in these advantages is a high level Dragon Gunship complete with massive hull armor, sail durability, and cannon capacity that normally would be available to only high level players.
So what's all the fuss about?
Many of the high level players feel they've been cheated by VCO because of the new player's impressive Gunship. The result has been a lot of complaints on the VCO forum.
Why the new Dragon Gunship will not effect high level players.
- The Dragon Gunship is meant only as a starter ship.
- Once upgraded, as will be required eventually, the ship will revert to a normal ship.
- These ships will not be as powerful in pvp combat as a high level player's ship will be. A new player simply hasn't progressed his/her character enough to stand even a remote chance against a well developed and similarly skilled player.
- If you are still not convinced, simply create a new character and trade the ship to your high level character.

2 things for starters : there is NO historical connection whatsoever between the chinese ships and the scenery of the game. And second - it's completely WRONG to give them as starting kit. What for? To kill all the fun ? I have played the game before (and it was fun but i quit because my hardware was old). Now i was going to start again but i find it so stupid that i'm not going to anymore.
