A Savannah, Georgia native, Zion grew up with a strong moral foundation. In spite of this, he strayed during his adolescence. But after witnessing the change in his father when he accepted Christ, Zion's heart was convicted. Alone in his bedroom, Zion knelt at his bedside and invited Jesus to come into his heart. His life has never been the same.

In 2003, Zion's debut CD, Let the Truth Be Known, was birthed. The project was recognized and honored with the 2004 Holy Hip Hop Artist of the Year award from Savannah's Gospel WSOK Gospel Music Awards. That CD was followed by Field of Dreams in 2005. When Zion signed with New Mind Records in 2007, it was determined that his sophomore release had so much more to offer that it was re-released under the title, Let Me In. A joint venture with I-66 Entertainment soon followed for a nationwide release.

In 2007, Zion's momentum continued to build as his music video He Was There for Me debuted on BET's Video Gospel and awarded the Holy Hip Hop Artist of the Year for a second time by WSOK Gospel Music Awards. His single "The Realest Believer" was also included on the Holy Hip Hop Compilation, "Taking the Gospel to the Streets; Vol. 4."

Zion is a Youth Pastor at Fairlawn Baptist Church in Savannah, GA. He is the president and founder of JFC (Josiah's For Christ Youth and Young Adults Empowerment Ministry), as well as, the president and founder of CCM (Christ Centered Music Ministries).

In a time where apostasy and postmodernism views are raging, societies' choice of music has become its primary source of direction, and where religion, tradition, and success have become dearer to some than attempting to win the lost by any means necessary... arises a Voice!

Let Me In is both a decree and a warning from a voice crying in the wilderness, Zion -aka- The Realist Believer; boldly confronts the naysayer and passionately warns the believer to hearken to the voice and coming of the Lord.

Its title track, Let Me In is a declaration beckoning mainstream media to give an ear to what God wants to say to and within the hip hop culture. Harmonious violins surround the track as Zion ponders the faith and fate of his family in "Where Do We Go?" Over a heavy-hitting baseline, Zion rallies the troops to join in on the hook as they proclaim "Jesus Christ Is Lord." In "The Realist Believer," under the pseudonym; the realist believer, Zion demonstrates the lifestyle of a believer as he explains the hardships and sacrifices that a true believer must face when walking out this Christian life.
