LET ME SHARE WITH YOU WAHs...THAT CAN EARN YOU MONEY
First things first before I begin. I bet you thought I mistakenly typed "WAHs" instead of "WAYS" in the title. Probably saying to yourself, she could have at least proofed it. Let me assure you, it is typed correctly. WAH stands for WORK AT HOME, and since there are more than one, WAHs. Just wanted to clarify.
Now let's move on to why you are here.
My first attempt at a work at home, online biz was to promote an affiliate link for cars. I got the idea from a guy who knows a guy who did this and made a decent income, so he said. Said if I do this, boom, sit back and watch the money roll in.
I knew nothing about cars, except how to put the key in it and drive, and that other drivers can't drive. Well, to say the least I wasn't that passionate about it, it didn't feel right for me. I found the info difficult to talk about, I gave up. Didn't touch Squidoo for months. Then I decided there must be other things out there that would be right for me, and something I can be passionate about and fits my sense of humor. There is some scary stuff out there, and all designed to take your money and your valuable time to make someone else money.
My successes are mainly composed of affiliate programs, paid surveys, games, and a really terrific site (free) you can use to promote your business, sell a product or service, and earn money from Google while you do it. I'm interested in hearing from other people about their experiences, good or bad, even with the sites I've posted here. This is a learning experience.
Affiliate programs are for those products I liked and decided I wanted a chance to share it with others and maybe they would decide they liked the product as well. I love to read, so a book seller was a wise choice for me. I look visiting their site, they have alot of useful information. Find out the most ever paid for a book; hint, there are six zeros before the decimal point. A tangible product that can be held and used.
Paid surveys, there are alot of them out there. I found I liked InboxDollars. InboxDollars was featured on ABC's Good Morning America as one of the most reputable work at home businesses. I'm slowly accumulating money by reading emails and I've found some interesting bargain offers as well. I tried one of the offers which lead me to another offer, the gift was a $100 Visa gift card. Only had to do three (3) offers for this, or rather order a product from three (3) different companies. I will offer you a caution when doing offers. Don't get greedy, always write down what offers you did, write down the sponsor's contact number, email address, and when you can cancel if you decide not to keep the product. If you don't do these things, it could cost you more than you earn. This is good advice when doing the freebie sites as well. I used the $100 Visa gift card to help buy a friend some medical supplies, paid for a prescription for another friend, and treated myself to a nice dinner.
When I come in from work, I just check my email, click, read the email, wait about 30 seconds before I click to get the maximum payment. Nice thing about it, I received $5 just for signing up. Check out the YouTube video below.
Games, I like PC games, believe me if you play alot of games it helps to have an edge to get to the next level. Walkthroughs and secrets are a girl's best friend. It helps also to get a feel for the flow of the game, and sort of a cheat sheet to show you're going in the right direction. World of Warcraft is a very popular game right now.
Shopping, everyone loves to shop, have your own shopping mall at your fingertips, popular brand name stores available to you 24/7. Check out my PowerMall link. Even if you don't get people under you, you receive discounts on products and earn rebates on the items you buy. Check out my PowerMall, it's free to join and they'll give you tons of information to help you promote your site. Or send you alerts about sales or good bargains. Either way, it's a plus for you.
SalesSpider is a good site for promoting your business or businesses and earn some money if you use Google Adsense. Link your Adsense account to your site. Someone clicks on a google ad while visiting your site, your classified ad, profile and your forum, you earn money. It's free to join and free to post a classified ad or create your own forum. If you want a premium classified ad or forum that will really bump up your traffic, there is a cost. Too me, not as pricey as some others I've seen. About $25.00 for two weeks for the premium classied ad, and about $99 for the premium forum for about 4 months. Check it out for yourself.
NEW POTENTIAL SUCCESS - MAY 2008
Well, here is another possible moneymaking opportunity. But with this one even if I don't make money, it has the best tutorial videos that walk you step by step setting up your blogg, how to use adwords, adsense, get your own domain name and site, directmatches, commission junction, etc. If you decide to join for no other reason than to have access to the tutorials, this is well worth your time. Oh, I forgot, ITS TOTALLY FREE!!!! How can it be free you ask, because by helping you learn how to make money, and using some of the services, they make money, and if you followed the instructions step by step, you have the potential to make money as well. I'm trying this one and I will keep you posted if it is a work at home success or a flop. Update 6/9/08. Still waiting, says may take 30-60 days before start seeing income. So one thing, that see money within a few short hours or within a couple days is exaggerated, unless the people set up the system correctly first time out and then went on vacation for two-three weeks, and they have no concept of time.
It is not free, there are some things that will cost you money, but not the system it self or the support. It will cost you $10 per month for one service, but the first 7-days are free. I believe it will be worth it, you spend that much or more on fast food per month or even a week. There are other costs, they are not required but it is up to you if you want them. You just have to know when to say "when". Still promising though.
WORD OF ADVICE
Always...always, whatever business you decide to pursue here or anywhere else, always...and I can't stress this enough...always read the Terms of Service (TOS). This will give you a feel for what is or is not being said. If something you read makes alarm bells go off in your head, step away, or even if bells don't go off, take a minute and evaluate the TOS. You can always come back later and read it again to make sure you read it correctly the first time. The first time you read it, you're usually flushed with excitement about the potential earnings claims and nervous about whether this is the right thing to try so you may miss something or gloss over it. So read it more than once. Example, one site I went to had a sentence in it that read something like this..."any talk of attorneys, litigation, fraud...etc, your account will be banned." Well, believe me, this didn't fill me with confidence about this site, so I came back later and reread it, then reread it again. But knowing what the business was about and I had seen good things about the people who run it and business itself, I decided to try it. Still unsure, ask the site questions, most legitimate sites will respond to your questions. If the answers are still vague and you still don't understand, walk away. There are more opportunities available.

How to freely give up your money without a fight
Most seem to be based on the pyramid scheme or as I call it, "The Worker Bee" scheme. The person tells you that you can potentially make $1,000-$5,000 per month or more with their product. Of course, we don't see the word, potentially, we only saw $1,000-$5,000, and started drooling.
You sign up, they now have your money, along with 100 other people who may have signed up that day (that's where that $1,000-$5,000 comes in - for them). It is now your task to pull in say another 10 people, these are referred to as your downline. You must now lure in your friends and/or family. These ten people now have to try and pull in 10 people each. That's 110 people under you if you're lucky. Good for you if they can do it, but great for the person who signed you up since they get a large percentage or commission from each one of these 110 people and you get the remainder. Now these 110 people have to consistently either buy a product or get more people to join. How many people do you know that are that dedicated and will remain in your downline when they start to see little to no profit, or their ownline downlines start to dwindle. And, the sad thing is, the people at the bottom will see nothing, especially if they can't pull a certain number of people into their downline.
Which means you will have to continually replenish your downline, and compete with all those other people who signed up, trying to get people to join. What's so easy about this? Now there are a few who are successful at this but they are such a tiny percentage, while the rest of us, 99%, will make little to nothing. This being said, I offer you my work-at-home business successes, businesses I've tried after having failed with all the others I've tried. Businesses that have managed to put money in my pocket.
I haven't gotten rich but I have managed to get enough to pay a bill or two, earn some extra spending money, and isn't that really what a work-at-home business is supposed to do, help you earn money, not cost you money.

I have tried each of these sites, found that I liked the product so much I wanted to promote it, and in doing so make some money. These are my Work at Home businesses.
I have three other businesses I am currently reviewing, and will share with you possibly in another lens.
(1)http://bux.to/?r=sassyaunty08. Pays you to read emails and offers you the opportunity to purchase referrals or advertise on the site. Payments are accepted and made through Alertpay. You will need an alertpay account, which is currently a major up and coming competitor to paypal. So far I'm earning daily, and am very pleased since joining 3/22/08. Minimum cash out is $10, or you can wait until you amass a larger amount, you decide, all the while you are still earning.
I'll share the other two once I definitely start seeing money being earned, and not before. As I said possibly in another lens.
THE SPIDERWEB MARKETING SYSTEM
Have earned some residual monthly income from GDI, Global Domains International, one of the 22 streams of income, over the past two months. Unfortunately, the referrals are not coming in as promoted in the ad, but then again I cannot afford to have an adwords budget of $1,000 or more a month.
If you do not have a large budget so that you can promote adwords, it can be slow going, but it can be done. Use free traffic exchanges, post flyers, leave cards at computer shows, be creative, the referrals can be found. But be prepared for a lot of lookers but no buyers, but that is the case with any business. Also at certain times of the year, it will be especially slow, children going back to school, holidays, unless you are promoting a seasonal product, and the economic situation in general.
I will try to concentrate on another stream of income. I've been concentrating my efforts on each stream one at a time. GDI has a great deal of potential for providing you monthly residual income and the $100 weeking bonuses for every 5 sign ups. DirectMatches is great for promoting your opportunities, but does require a monthly fee to be a premium member. Yuwie, unless you can pull quality and quantity consistent referrals, this is not a stream, more like a drop. I like Yuwie as a social networking site, I enjoy going there, easy to use, everything, and I make a few cents a month. Who knows the drop may turn into a stream. It's also a great place to share your business opportunities, and find out information on what's available.
SpiderWeb is now promoting ZenZuu as one of it's streams of income. I've signed up for ZenZuu, but I must admit I have not focussed on it. You are required to log in at least 30 times during the month. You can do it all in one day, a week, or one time a month. I haven't been able to, but that is because I like Yuwie so much, I go there first, and wind up staying there for a few hours. I am also concerned about payout for ZenZuu, I have seen a few disquieting comments about payout dates being moved. But I will give ZenZuu a fair chance, tear myself away from Yuwie to give it a fair break.
I am definitely going to continue the Self Bank Mobile stream. It is now currently in Beta and scheduled to go live, January 2009. I have been fortunate enough to have over 50 referrals sign up with me. I recently signed up for VIP User which only costs $3.65 per month, but you receive amazing benefits with this service once it begins. To me this is an absolute investment.

I just joined this opportunity last week. I'm not sure about the earning potential, but, the tutorial videos alone are worth the sign up, which is FREE by the way. Shows you what marketing tools are out there and how not to be afraid to use them. Show you step by step. Afraid of Google Adwords, Adsense? This will show you how to use them successfully. Videos run anywhere from 5 minutes to 50 minutes in length depending on the subject. You will not be bored. They use the KISS method (Keep It Simple Stupid).
AUGUST 28, 2008 UPDATE
Still with the SpiderWeb System. Have I made thousands of dollars? No. Have I made a few hundred dollars? Yes. I'm sticking with it because I know it takes time. "Will you be rolling in money as promised within three months, four months?" No. I've been doing this since the end of April 2008 and I do not have a Benjamin imprint anywhere on me, but you can earn some money.
SpiderWeb has added some more streams of income to increase your opportunities for money and to replace one of the income streams. Google is cancelling their referral program by the end of August 2008, all products sold, the referrer will cease to receive payment after September 18, 2008. Spiderweb has now added Zenzuu as one of the streams of income.
Yuwie, social networking site, that pays it's members a portion of their monthly advertising revenue, is fun to visit. I have a lens about Yuwie in Squidoo. Can you earn money from using Yuwie, yes. Great site to promote your business opportunities plus earn doing what you normally do on networking sites. Don't quit your day job though. You must have the time and tenancity to network, click, visit, and post, but it's a great site for socializing and share your business opportunities if you have one.
One of the best items on SpiderWeb Marketing System I'm really thinking will be a money making bonanza, is SELFBANK MOBILE. New service that will allow cell phone users to pay for their purchases or bills with their cell phone. I'm really psyched about this one, make monthly income from everyone who signs up and uses the service, receive a portion of the revenue they generate, and receive a $100 credit rewards bonus for ever person who signs under you, upto a maximum of $2500. I have already reached the limit for the credit rewards bonus of $2500, and have over 45 people signed up, waiting for the January 2009 launch date. This for me is the only drawback, the service is currently in beta testing, will go through actual testing sometime in the fall. They are currently accepting pre-launch signups. This to me has a fantastic potential to be a huge opportunity for profit.

Well at the end of July 08 and I have now accumulated earnings of $149, since joining in March, and my earnings grow everyday, and I have not purchased anymore referrals or the premium membership. I am quite pleased with this site. I think one of the things I will do with my rebate check is purchase more referrals and the premium membership. Bux.to has also added a virtual store, which I believe is an indication they plan to be around awhile, you never know though. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. But I say for now, this is a keeper. As of August 2008, I've now earned over 151.00 dollars, some of my referrals have dropped out. That's one of the drawbacks of a downline.
I used my earnings to advertise on Bux.to. Imagine 20,000 to 30,000 people focussed on only 10-14 ads, beats being one out of 1,000s. I recently promoted one of my affiliate links on bux.to and paid for 2500 clicks, these are member clicks, visitor clicks are a bonus, which you do not have to pay for nor are they included in the click count. So happened that day there were 18000 visitors, so for my 2,500 click cost, I got over 20,000 clicks, until 2500 members clicked. I advertise this at salespider as well so far no takers. So it's good for advertising your website as well as getting paid to click ads.

Haven't updated in a while for Project Pay Day. Still a good site to pick up info about the freebie sites. I had one person who contacted me about this opportunity, so I gave him indepth information about the do's and definite do not do under any circumstance. He emailed back after his first trade, concerned about not getting his credit. I gave him advice about what to do and what not to do. I felt like a mother hen. A few weeks later, he emailed ME and asked if I wanted to do a trade with him. Seems he took to it like a duck to water. He'd made over $500 in a week. I went to the freebie site he was a part of, the kid was smokin'. The student becomes the master. I was so proud.
When I emphasize things about the freebie sites, it's because I already made the mistakes and I can tell you what to look out for, what to do and what not to do. You can make money on the freebie sites, definitely. You can make alot of money on the freebie site, but you must be organized, willing to write everything down and put it where you can find it, record all the offers you are working on so you don't accidentally repeat the same offer, you will be banned by the offer site and cause the person who traded with you to lose the referral credit toward the money cash out or prize they were working on. They now have to get another referral.
If you decide to try this, I've got some tips for you, come closer to the screen and listen.....
You didn't just do it did you? (LOL). Well here are the tips: [OFFERS] Most offers require you to use a product as either a free trial, or at a fraction of the actual cost,or for the cost of shipping only, for 7-days, 14-days, whatever the trial period. TIP#1: trial starts the day you sign up for it, regardless if you received it or not. To be on the safe side, always treat it as if it does start at sign up unless the TOS (again read that pesky Terms of Service (TOS)) says differently. Why? you ask. So you won't wind up receiving the actual full size product charged to your credit card because you didn't let them know of your decision not to continue within the trial period.(I found this out the hardway) This is where good bookkeeping skills come in. Which leads to BIG Tip#2. Depending on the terms of the offer, most of them only require you to try the trial product, doesn't say anything about the auto-refill (automatic refill). You know, the full fledged product that comes at full price, full monthly fee, charged to your credit card. You get the idea. You CAN cancel the autorefill at ANY TIME, it will not effect your completing the offer, since it was for the trial only. (Again, a hard lesson learned)

Still a great site. Good offers. I would not recommend doing this and the freebie sites together. They advertise alot of the same freebie offers, don't want to get banned. Remember, you can only do an offer once no matter who you did it through. If you feel uncomfortable about doing the freebie sites, I would suggest doing this one definitely.

Any site that offers to pay you $10, $100, or more to read an email. Think about it...what kind of advertising dollars are they pulling in for that ad that they can afford to pay you $10 or $100 or more to read an email, along with the 100's or 1000's of other people who are also reading this ad. I don't think Microsoft could afford that type of money, at least not for long. If you sign up, you will find that the rules for pay out constantly change, no one responds to your emails, or suddenly the server will go down and your information will be lost or they have to perform an audit to verify that you earned the money you say they owe you. Kiss that goodbye.
Which brings me to Data Processors, they still owe me $52.00, for reading and rating emails. Oh wait, they suddenly changed ownership. Payouts under the previous owner was to have occurred by June 2008. It is now August 2008, still no $52. If it sounds too good to be true, don't buy the premium, platinum, or gold membership, or whatever they call it.
I discovered a lens on Squidoo which I found very informative if you want to check any of the PTC/PTR sites. I have her lensrolled to my site about the legitimate sites, but she also has another about the scam sites. Look for Andria-Teamwork. Really good information.
