Welcome to WVaTumbleweed's place, I'm so glad you found us. The wind is always blowing in new vintage Treasures & Goodies to our stores. Be sure to stop by often & see what's new!

We are ebay sellers & the name of our store is The Little Treasures of Life. There we sell a wide array of items. I prefer to focus on vintage clothing, shoes & accessories most of the time, as they are my passion. My passion started about 3 years ago when my husband suggested I check out ebay. Well I decided to take a look around the site & found a pair of vintage 1940's heels & that was the beggining of my love affair.

Who are We?  My husband & I, he recently joined my selling team. You'll find his items under the category Limited Husband's Edition. He has a full time job outside of this though, so he's a bit slower listing things then I am.

What's with the Name? 

I get asked this a lot! It's very easy to explain thankfully. I was born & raised in West Virginia - which is where I got the WVa.

When I got married, it was to a texas born & raised guy. And he moved me back to his home town. So my dad started calling me his little tumbleweed!

I'll never be a texan at heart - just the simple mountainer.... So... I just decided to put the 2 together - WVaTumbleweed!

How to buy Vintage Shoes that fit like a dream... 

Here's a quick run down for you so you'll know how to buy vintage shoes that will fit you!
  • Pick a pair of shoes out that you own right now & that fit well.
  • Grab a cloth tape measure.
  • Put the end of the tape measure inside the shoe at the end of the Toes. Run the cloth to the heel, be sure to keep it flat against the insole.

    Write the measurement down.
  • Now do the same thing for the ball of the foot. Except here you are going to run the tape from side to side along the Outter sole of the shoe.

    Write that measurement down.
  • Now - everytime you go to buy a pair of vintage shoes online - make sure they have those measures.
