There are many different types of matches in the WWE.To make it a bit clearer to you what kind of matches you might see in the WWE , I am going to tell you about some of the more common matches , and what happens in each one.
Bra & Panties Match :The first girl to strip her opponent to her bra and panties wins.
Battle Royal: There are a large number of men in the ring , you are eliminated by being thrown over the tope rope , last man standing wins.
Elimination Chamber:6 men are put into a chamber , 2 start out , and the other 4 are held in chambers , another superstar being let out after a certain amount of time.A superstar is eliminated by pin fall or submission , and the last man standing wins.
Falls Count Anywhere:A pin fall can be made anywhere , even outside the ring.
No-Disqualification Match:Anything is legal , there are no disqualifications .
Triple Threat Match:Three men face each other , first one to get another to submit or go down for the three count wins.No disqualification.
Fatal Four Way Match :4 superstars face each other , each man is eliminated by submission or pin fall , last man standing wins.
Handicap Match :A match that doesn't have equal sides.It could be 2 vs. 1 , 3 vs 2 , 3 vs. 1 , or any other combination.
First Blood Match: First man to bleed loses.
Hell in a Cell Match : The ring is surrounded by a huge structure of steel , leaving no way out , win by pin fall or submission.
Cage Match : The ring is surrounded by a steel cage with an open roof , the only way to win is by going out the door or over the top.
Ladder Match: No-Disqualification , ladders are used.This match is usually a title match , with the title hanging by a rope above the ring. The ladder must be used to get the title , first man to get the title wins.Can also be made into a TLC match , with the same rules , but more tables and chairs are used.
Iron Man Match:Person with most pin falls , and submissions by the end of 1 hour wins.
Royal Rumble:30 man over the top rope match. You can only be eliminated by going over the top rope , a new man comes in every few minutes , the last man standing is the winner , and gets a title shot at Wrestlemania.
These are just a few of the more common WWE matches.There are really no limits to what can happen in a WWE match.Who knows what kind of match we will be watching next?
