Sharing the good news

This lens is designed to share and tell others of the Love of God by using the World Wide Web to bring glory to Jesus-Christ our Savior. In this lens, I share my view on how we, Christian, can use this technology to reach out and to connect with other people who have not heard about Jesus and other brothers and sisters around the world.

Evangelism

Evangelism is telling people what God through Jesus -Christ has done for us. Of course he provided the provision needed to redeem us all when he gave his one and only Son Jesus-Christ to die on the cross for you and for me. Evangelism is something we the people of God must do. It is a command and a privilege to tell everybody about the love of God. And reason I want to tell others about it is because I experienced it and I want all people to know it too. The word of God says: God our Savior wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth (1Timothy 2:4). Evangelism is part of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19), evangelism is a calling on all Christians. However, it's more than a commandment. Evangelism is an honor, a joy, and a pleasure! It is also important to show God's love; our actions shout louder than our voices. We are living examples of the grace of God, and our attitude towards others should impact their lives.

People Need the Lord

Look around you. People are hurting. The world is desperately searching for answers, but they are looking in the wrong place trying to fill the void that only God can. The Bible says "for God so loved the world that He gave his one and only begotten Son that who so ever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16). But who's going to tell them about the reason for our hope (1Peter3:15)? It's you and me. We are God's people. Therefore, we are responsible to share and telling others about whom Jesus is and what he has done for us. Men and women of God people need the Lord and we are responsible to live our lives as light so they see Jesus in us. Jesus says we are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14).Men and Women of God you and I have a responsibility to share the gospel. As we all know that evangelisation starts in our home and family first but I am not naive to think that it is an easy task. However, if we let our light shine others will see and they glorify God and come to Jesus. All of us know people who are not saved. we talk and joke with them about anything except the telling and sharing the gospel of God with them. For some of us those people are, our son (s) or our daughter (s). A wife or a husband. Our parents and grandparents, our best friends, co-workers and good old classmates. those people we say we love, shouldn't we care for their eternity as well? Most of us if not all are guilty of such because we often say it is not my life or it is their business. But friends, Jesus- Christ has sent you and I as the Father has sent him. We must no be too quickly forgotten that we are on a heavenly mission. let us start doing what we should have been doing in the first place because it is never too late to start doing good things.
