The Hunter Class
by Madgan @ World of Warcraft Guides
The hunter is a very versatile class in PvP and PvE as they have a number of crowd control abilities which make them very useful in groups as well as solo. Hunters have a number of very useful roles as well as having the ability to do a lot of damage.
Hunters also have the benefit of having a pet to tank for them handle adds or to just deal more damage. Any team can use a hunter as they have a lot of useful things to bring to a group.
In PvE hunters are great as they have amazing continuous DPS. This makes them especially good for long boss encounters as well as being able to do good burst DPS on shorter fights.
Also you have the benefit of your pet dealing dps or tanking for you or your party. Also you can split pulls with your Freeze trap and this really helps in harder dungeons with large elite mob pulls.
In solo PvE or grinding you can excel as well as you don't need to use mana very much at all and you can keep on chain pulling monsters making hunters one of the fastest levelers as well as money makers.
For grinding just find a nice spot with a lot of monsters that are spaced out a bit and start chain pulling and killing them all. Just watch a movie while you're doing it and you can pull in a lot of gold and items in a day.

The Mage Class
by Madgan @ World Of Warcraft Guides
The Mage is in a couple words "Glass Cannon" they specialize in ranged DPS while attempting to stay at a range from their enemies. The Mage is one of the highest damage classes in the game with a huge mana pool but not much life. Mages are useful in almost any situation with a wide range of spells for any battle.
The Mage does best when protected by a warrior or some of front-line combatant as they cannot withstand much punishment with their cloth armor, but rather are better at ending a battle before a enemy can retaliate.
Mages also have the ability to summon food and water which is very helpful when they or their allies are far from any town or flight path and can keep the party going. They also have some helpful buffs and other spells which are very useful.
The mage has 3 spell casting trees each with a number of spells. The Arcane Tree which is a mix between damage and efficiency as well as a number of buffs and summoning spells. Arcane mages have some useful mana conserving talents/spells. An Arcane mage can mix his arcane spells with either fire or frost for the maximum damage.
The Fire Tree focuses on direct damage and killing any enemies before they can do anything to the mage. Fire Mages can dish out quite a bit of damage in the space of a few seconds but may exhaust their mana pool. Fire mages can quickly dispatch multiple enemies before having to rest.
The Frost Tree is all about slowing an enemy down and efficiency as many of frosts talents are focused around conserving mana while still dishing out damage. The Frost mage has the ability to kite an opponent around keeping him away from the mage while the mage wears them down.
Most mages use a combination of either of the 2 spell tree's. Many mages find combining Fire with Arcane or Frost with Arcane makes the best of the spells. Sometimes however mages will combine fire and frost to make a quick killing machine without much mana efficiency.
Mages also have a number of abilities to keep enemies at range such as Frost Nova or slowing abilities such as Cone of Cold, or Blast Wave. Most times a mage can defeat an opponent without taking any damage at all.
The worst thing for a mage is to get caught by a warrior or a rogue at close range. A rogue or warrior can tear through a mage in a matter or seconds if you don't get out of range fast. Blink is great for this as it breaks stuns and gets you out of melee range fast.

The Paladin Class
by Madgan @ World Of Warcraft Guides
The paladin is a hybrid-healer class, having a large amount of healing and buffing spells as well as competent melee ability. The paladin can benefit a party or raid group immensely with his different buffing abilities and healing spells. The paladin has a number of melee buffs allowing them to deal more damage and a number of defensive abilities allowing them to survive for long amounts of time in PvP.
Paladins were recently buffed as well in the 1.9 Patch allowing them to be more useful in PvP as well as being able to catch players in PvP. Paladins are now a lot better then they were at PvP.
Now I'm not going to presume that I know exactly the best way to play a paladin. There are many ways of playing a paladin but I know of a few specific roles that I use myself.
1. The support Damage Dealer/Healer
One of the main roles that most paladins play the paladin hangs in the back heals and comes in for support DPS when needed. A lot of the paladins I see do this and is the easiest thing for a paladin to do and remain useful to his team.
1. The front line damage dealer/back-up healer
Some paladins follow this role though it is ridiculed by other players some times. Generally will want to go with a heavy retribution spec for this role and I would grab some holy points to go along with it.
1. Protection build tank
Heavy protection and a mix of either ret or holy. This is for paladins that want to tank generally works best before the level 60 dungeons, as after level 50 or so the ability to tank versus warriors declines quite a bit in the dungeons.
4. Healbotting for raids
Heavy Holy build mixed with a bit of protection. Your general healbotting paladin for MC, BWL, and ZG. Used by some paladins in Group PvP.

The Priest Class
by Madgan @ World Of Warcraft Guides
Priests are a very powerful class wielding a combination of shadow and holy abilities they can be the ultimate healer or a dangerous damage dealer. Priests are one of the most wanted classes in the game as many guilds need more healers.
Also Priests can do very well in a PvP group as with Shadow Abilities they can deal quite a bit of damage and fear their opponents away. Many times a priest is also needed for the various instances and bosses.
The Priest has 3 abilitie/talent trees. The Holy Tree, The Discipline Tree, and the Shadow Tree. Each tree enhances an aspect of the priest such as his healing ability or his damage ability.
The Holy tree is focused upon healing ability. It has things such as Holy Nova and Lightwell. This is great for raiding and for use in group PvP. Also great just so that you have fast healing and smite is pretty good for PvP because of patch 1.10
The Discipline tree enhances your mana regeneration/conservation abilities. Also improves things such as inner fire and shield thus your ability to protect yourself and teammates. Has some abilities that allow you to cast a mana free spell and other things.
The Shadow tree focuses upon your damage ability and gives you numerous tools to kill other players. It gives you things such as Vampiric Embrace to drain life from opponents and silence to prevent players from healing/escaping. Also gives you Mindflay a wonderful PvP/leveling ability.

The Rogue Class
by Madgan @ World Of Warcraft Guides
Rogues are one of the most popular classes in WoW with good reason. They deal quite a bit of damage and have the ability to stealth around and sneak up on opponents to assasinate them. They excell at taking out caster classes with their high damage special attacks.
Also rogues have some escape abilitys such as Vanish which allow them to sneak into a enemy group take out a couple healers and then vanish and return to their side to heal up and prepare for another run.
Rogues also are great at leveling and grinding with their high DPS they can grind monsters very fast while being able to escape if need be. They also can take out other players in their grinding area if need be.
All of this make rogues a very fun class to play and they also help raids out quite a bit with their damage dealing abilities on alot of the bosses.
Rogues have 3 Talent trees, each improving one aspect of the rogue.
The Assasination tree specializes in improving your critical damage, and your ability to kill someone in the space of a few seconds. This is mainly about stealthing up and ambushing/backstabbing someone and then sprinting/vanishing to get away.
The Subtlety tree is used to improve your overall stealth efficiency. This gives you useful things such as improved Sap and Improved Ambush. Also allows you to increase your stealth level and speed.
The Combat Tree improves the rogues basic combat ability and is generally the best spec for leveling up and grinding. This is also a good spec for its Riposte ability allowing you to disarm monsters/players.

The Shaman Class
by Madgan @ World Of Warcraft Guides
Shamans are a hybrid class and thus have the ability to fill multiple roles in many situations. Shamans also have 3 different talent trees that help them specialize in these different roles
The shaman class is a mix of Healers, Warriors, and Mages and so have some characteristics of each of them.
As an example Priests have a fast heal (Flash heal) and a Greater Heal for more HP. Shaman have Lesser Healing wave (AKA Flash heal) and Healing Wave the slower heal. Shamans also are able to wear mail armor at level 40 allowing them to have a small amount of tanking ability.
Also Shamans have nukes (AKA damage spells) like mages in some respects such as lightning bolt-Chain Lightning-all the shocks.
Another helpful part of being a shaman are our shocks. There are 3 different shocks that each do some damage and have a secondary effect.
Flame Shock-Fire damage and a small Dot (Damage over time) Frost Shock-Frost damage and a snare Earth Shock-Nature damage also interrupts a spell and causes a high amount of threat
All these attributes combined make the shamans one of the most versatile classes in the game.

The Warlock Class
by Madgan @ World Of Warcraft Guides
Warlocks are a very powerful class, with the ability to place numerous curses upon opponents crippling the opponents efficiency and ability to strike back. Many times a warlock can end a fight with full life as they have the ability to drain the life and mana of their opponents.
Also warlocks can summon up allies from the abyss to aid them in battle allowing them to completely disable opponents and destroy them. The warlock also has the ability to strike fear into the hearts of their opponents forcing them to run in fear.
Also if they would prefer to a warlock can simply harness their shadow ability and blast the opponent into oblivion with very high damage spells. Overall the warlock has many ways to destroy an opponent and end fights fast.
Warlocks have 3 trees of abilities each focusing on a different aspect of the warlock.
The Destruction tree focuses on the warlocks ability to annihilate opponents in a matter of seconds. This is for warlocks wishing to deal massive amounts of damage in the space of a few seconds. Also this gives you access to a number of instant abilities which can be very helpful in PvP.
The Demonology tree is used to buff your pets in combat allowing them to do a greater part of combat whether in PvP or PvE. This is commonly used for grinding allowing the warlock to throw a few DoT's on and let the pet do the rest. This also gives your pets special benefits such as +resistances to you and your pet and other things.
The Affliction tree enhances your abilitie to de-buff opponents. This allows you to slow them down and wear them down preventing them from ever reaching you. Also you can use your curse of exhaustion to give you time to cast your bigger spells. This is useful in PvP.

The Warrior Class
by Madgan @ World Of Warcraft Guides
The warrior is a hybrid melee in a way. We can tank and yet if specced correctly we can deal a huge amount of damage. Warriors are very gear dependant so it makes life a bit hard in some areas if you dont have a good weapon.
Some aspects of the warrior class are easy to do and others can be rather hard. Sometimes to tank a monster you spam sunder armor and thats it. Other monsters require the use of everything you have to keep it under control.
The warrior is a nice simple class is the hands of one person. And a deadly fighting machine in the hands of a more experienced person. A well played warrior can beat any class in PvP.
For grinding i would suggest a fury/arms build as it kills mobs faster then a arms build generally. One thing to keep in mind is that warriors are a very gear dependant class and you should make sure to have the latest weapons at least when grinding. Another thing to remember is that first aid will greatly help your grinding.
For grinding you will want to maximise your killing speed overtime. Warriors are great grinders actually, fury warriors can go for a long time before needing to heal at all. With only green weapons a fury warrior can gets 100's of gold per day. You will want to set up a easy to use pattern for killing and then can almost fall asleep while doing it.
Another thing to do is to watch a movie or read a book while grinding. Pretty much anyone can kill things with one hand if your in a good spot. Just find a good book or watch something on your computer while grinding, trust me it will be alot easier to grind then.
