Who is Wavy the Crocodile

There are many reasons to love Wavy the Crocodile - or is he an alligator, I always forget which is which and so does Wavy on occasion! Whatadoo! Anyway, here's three reasons to love Wavy:

• Craig Ferguson!
  Wavy always introduces Craig, even allowing Craig to talk both to the audience and to guests. That's real big of him, especially since Wavy is a crocodile and we all know that crocodiles eat people, and cows.


• Wavy pretends to be a log so he can eat cows!
  You know how crocodiles lie in the water pretending to be logs? Wavy has this down to a fine art. When he's looking just like a log there in the water, cows all rush to come up close to him, because he's a log! And then Wavy can just open that big mouth of his and goodbye cow.


• Wavy waves!
  All joking aside, Wavy gets his name from his trademark wave. After all, he's a stage puppet which means he has movable arms, so he can wave. Nuff said.

Wavy has plenty of companions on the "Late Late Show."

Rodney/Brian the Shark, Wavy's girlfriend Nadine the Cat, Kronos King of the Monkey People, George the French Snail, Flaubert the pig, Bruce the T-Rex, and of course the Scottish Unicorn and the Clam! What a very special bunch! They are all made by Folkmanis, who are legendary puppet makers.
