There are a lot of great Wholesale Product Resources that can be found on the Internet but be careful. There are also countless sites on the Internet just out there to scam people looking for a good deals.
Research, research, research. It is the number one thing most people do not do enough of. It can double or triple your chance to make a large profit from your wholesale products to sell. Create a list 10 to 20 different items. Then go on eBay or your favorite auction site and check what the items are selling for.
So how can you be sure you are working with a real wholesale product resource?
Top 10 things to look for when searching for wholesale products to sell.
2) You are not asked for your business tax ID number. Any wholesale product resource must ask for your federal tax ID number before they can supply you with any products.
3) You can check the age of their websites. Online wholesalers go out of business all the time. It's a hard business to be successful in and there are many frauds. Research the name of the website. Legitimate companies will reserve their domain named for 3 to 5 years or more.
4) Asked them if there is any extra fees they will be charging for drop shipping. You should only be charged for the products. Ask them about warranty, shipping and return policies. Make sure that you will not have to pay for a return items.
5) Customer service is one of the most important aspects of a good when looking for wholesale products to sell. I would be very nervous of a company that does not answer your e-mails for several days or is very hard to get through to.

7) Ask around. Contact Powersellers on eBay. Find out what other sellers experiences have been with the company. Check references.
8) If you are going to work with a liquidator try and find out what the reason is for the liquidation or closeout. Liquidation sales can be a great product resources. Often times you have to buy by the palate. You can get broken or return items that are not in good enough condition to sell. Make sure broken items are able to be returned before you buy.
9) Make sure you can negotiate shipping. If you can, get CIF (Cost, insurance and freight) or DDP (Delivery, duty paid) shipping terms from your supplier. FOB (freight on board) is the most common shipping. It does not hurt to ask for better.
10) You should always only order a small amount when dealing with any supplier but it is even more critical when working with an international wholesale product resource like in China. Many times international suppliers will only take Western Union and wire transfer for the first time.
