After fighting with my weight all my life I know it's time to get serious about my health. I've read Pamela Peeke's Fight Fat After Forty and I will read it again. It has lots of helpful information as to why it's hard to stay focused on weight management in mid-life. I recommend this book for all that fit this category. It explains the mental and physical reasons, especially for women, why we should have a detailed plan on getting our weight under control.

My 5 best Tips for Staying Healthy 

I know it probably sounds familiar but I've found personally that these 5 tips will jump start the body feeling healthy.

1. Drink at least 64 oz of water everyday (A gallon a day make gives my skin a Super Glow)

2. Consume 5 servings of fruits an vegetables everyday

3. Consume around 30 grams of fiber everyday

4. Eat lean proteins and limit fried foods of all kind

5. Get Moving, try to walk at least 20 minutes 4 times per week
