The most vital factor that needs consideration is the weight of the individual and how many hours the person will be able to dedicate to the process. Today students who are interested in fencing wish to have weight training in their program due to several advantages associated with the process. While designing any such schedule, you need to remember that such training should be planned in a way so that the student is not injured in the training process. Strength or weight can be increased but it is essential to raise it in a steady way. The capability of the candidate to do the training comfortably is very important. It is for this motive the height and weight of the fencer has to be taken into account when making a design for a weight training program. Rest should also be included in the program as it is essential for its successful completion.

The weight training plan should be planned in a way so that additional training programs of the fencer is in no way impeded. The routine has to be planned so that the student has adequate time for recovery after the program. The recovery has to be well balanced. The training program should keep in mind the muscles that are most needed by a fencer. For example, the arms do face a great deal of stress while fencing and so these are the muscles that need special training to increase their endurance level. While planning strength training module it is significant to take into account the repetitive factors and set concepts. The objectives and intentions of a fencer and that of any body builder are never the same. Thus their training program should also never be mixed up as their purpose and requirements are different.
