Weslo Treadmills

If you are looking for a treadmill and you have a very limited budget then the Weslo Cadence 55 treadmill may be one treadmill that you may want to look into.

Priced in the $300 - $325 range it is affordable for most of us. Now it does have a top user weight of 250 pounds so if you are at that weight or higher than you will need a more powerful treadmill.

The Cadence 55 treadmill isn't a flashy treadmill with many features but it does have what you need to get a good treadmill workout.
The motor is a 2.0 horse power one. A 2.0 is not the strongest but if you are under the 250 pound weight it will give you enough power for your workouts. Since the adjustable incline levels is performed manually you don't need the added motor power to mover your treadbelt and adjust your incline.

The speed on this treadmill goes from 0 to 8 MPH which is a pretty good speed and is about an 8 minute mile. Now sure how fast an 8 minute mile is? Drive your car to a side road that does not get traffic ( or an empty parking lot) and take the speed to 8 miles an hour. It's probably faster than you thought that it would be.

This is a space saver treadmill and in addition to it being able to fold up when not in use it also has a fairly small foot print. The cushioned and durable treadbelt is a bit small at 14 x 45" but that is what helps to the foot print small.

This Weslo treadmill has a few more features than the Cadence 55.
Starting off with a little bit more powerful motor which is a 2.25 horse power motor and then adding in a few built-in workout programs, speeds which go up to 10 MPH and a monitor which is a bit easier to read as you're going through your workouts and like the 55, your walking surface is also cushioned for comfort.
