Signs Of Ovulation

When you ask yourself: What Does Ovulation Feel Like, it is amazing, although evident, how much you don't know about your body.

There are many methods to recognize Signs and Symptoms of Ovulation: natural methods and the ones you spend your money on.

Even if you are in advanced maternal age, following information will save you from a lot of headaches and worries in the future.

When Is The Best Time to Get Pregnant?

Signs and Symptoms of Ovulation

Getting pregnant is a serious task which requires preparation and discipline. But, however hard you try, you can't escape media influence end endless advice. It seems as if there are thousands of experts around us with strong opinions on just about any pregnancy issues - and I didn't even touch the subject of expensive ovulation kits.

It's an endless circle and the more you get sucked in the weaker you'll become.

Simply, it's in us to strive for a more natural approach. Don't you think that pharmaceutical corporations have had their fair share of our hard earned cash?

The truth is, the best time to get pregnant is when you are ovulating. But signs and symptoms of ovulation are sometimes not that obvious. You have to learn to read your body signs - needless to say, "Timing is everything"!

It usually takes about 10-14 days for your body to mature an egg and release it. Ovulation for most women usually takes place between the tenth and 14th day after the last period starts.

Understanding the importance of consistent ovulation is an important factor in determining why you may be having trouble getting pregnant. For instance, if you are getting your period 12 days or less after you ovulate, you may not be making enough progesterone to support a pregnancy. In contrast, if your cycles are very long, or even irregular, you may not be producing eggs often - or even at all!

Did you ever think of that one?

What Are My Chances of Getting Pregnant During Ovulation?

Timing Is Everything

Remember, when it comes to getting pregnant, timing is everything, which is why is imperative to understand your menstrual cycle. The biggest mistake many women make is to assume that she is "normal", and so is her ovulation. Most of us have been taught that ovulation occurs around the 14th day so we should be having lots of sex between days 12 and 15. While this may be true for most women, it isn't true for all women.

Ovulation usually occurs 14 days before your period begins. So, if you have a 28 day cycle, then you can expect to ovulate on day 14 like the average woman. But, if your periods are only 25 days apart, you are going to ovulate around day 11, so having sex on days 13 and 14 will be too late.

On the other hand, if you have longer periods (say 34 days), you won't even ovulate until day 20, so all that semen from day 14 and 15 will be long gone by the time it's needed!

To increase your chances of getting pregnant and to ensure healthy conception, be sure to study your periods; figure out when you actually do ovulate and then make sure that you get "busy" during the right time of the month.

Hot to Recognize Common Signs and Symptoms of Ovulation

Well, for some people is that easy!

Of course, it's not always that easy to get pregnant, especially if you have irregular periods. Menstrual cycles that are way off the mark of normal usually indicate an underlining fertility issue such as lack of regular ovulation.
Right now, it is important to get in touch with body and monitor your menstrual cycle.

Recognizing Signs and Symptoms of Ovulation: there are several ways to tell when you are ovulating.

1-By watching calendar(remember, rule of the thumb, you ovulate 14 days before you get your period)

2-By watching for an increase in vaginal fluids. Mucus discharge usually becomes heavier, thinner, clearer and stretchier right before and during ovulation.

3-By feeling inside your vagina to see when your cervix becomes softer and slightly open. When you are not ovulating, the cervix remains further back in the uterus and feels harder, plus it's tightly closed.

4-Take notice of any sharp pains in your abdomen. Other physical signs that indicate ovulation include: headaches, bloating and breast tenderness.

It's not a comment, more like a question. I couldn't find any help to my question and that is my lower abdomen keeps having muscle spasms. I don't know when I'm ovulating & I don't think I have for the past two months. Is this something I take up with my doctor? My bf & I have been together for 6 1/2 months & it seems every month I get my period. Any advice would really help. Also my cycle has been irregular since I had my son almost seven yrs ago. Thank You

Nice informative lens! In my family we are all users of the magnetic therapy products. The last one we try was the Magnet Panty, a product to alleviate the menstrual pains. My 15 years old daughter is a living testimony of it. Her menstrual pains are gone forever without the need of any other medication.

What a fantastic lens! My wife has been using Chinese herbs for a quite some time, and all because she was adviced to do so in preparation to conception after being really sick from Clomid. Since then, she never looked back. It's funny how media, and pharmaceutical companies, play such a big influence in our lifes. They pass that element of guilt on you (that something may go wrong) if you don't do this or buy that. Gets me mad every time. Don't give them any money I say....
Naturally is the way to go...and only.

    Sorry...my 2 cents

    Cheers

Alex, thank you so much. Totally agree. Ovulation time including menstrual cycle can be adjusted really easy naturally, I recommend acupuncture too. A little tweak in kidneys will get BBT going nicely.

    Cheers
