    Holy Wah! You have Holy Cow ice cream there. Red Hook and the Hudson are both beautiful. I love the idea of the octagon library.

    "Montgomery Place " is my kind of architecture. Love it.

    Beautiful photos and the river is quite inviting.

    I travel on the other side of the Hudson every few weeks as I drive between homes in Vermont and Pennsylvania. The river is beautiful and I've often thought of making the trip in 2 days instead of 1 ... perhaps we'll stop in the Red Hook area and enjoy the ambiance in spring or summer.

    I am a Realtor in the Village of Red Hook and it is truly a great little town. I am proud to promote living here. Lots of history, safe area for all, schools ranked 350 out of 1600 per News Week Magazine study in July. Oh and yes....Holy Cow is a phenomenon!

    This is a beautiful page! I already wanted to visit for the mansions, but now you tell entice me with ice creams. Perhaps, I should just move there :) Angel Blessed and added to my Squid Angel Mouse Tracks lens.

    An interesting look at your "home town". Thanks for sharing. The Hudson River looks beautiful. It's hard for me in Australia to imagine such a big river to be frozen.
