I am a recent transplant to this beautiful, little, under-appreciated city. Here's where I will share all the cool things I'm learning about Wheeling, WV, USA!

The Friendly City

As I meet people in this town who have been here all their lives and I tell them I'm from Florida, I get the old "eye roll" and they ask me why I picked Wheeling, WV when I could be in Florida. Well, the truth is Wheeling picked me. I hadn't even heard of Wheeling before my daughter called, two years ago, now, to tell me she had found a beautiful building there and wanted to know if I would be interested in coming up, living there and opening a shop. Everything snowballed from there.

This lens was inspired by my love for my new home and I'd really love to share some links and information about the rich history of Wheeling, WV, USA.
