Welcome to a Taste of New England
One of the most enjoyable seasons is Summer. New England has a significant coastline, and abundant seafood available. Mention 'New England' to a visitor, and immediately what comes to their mind is Maine Lobster and New England Clam Chowder.
Cape Cod is famous for evoking thoughts of Camelot, where the Kennedy family would gather for touch football and clambakes. Cape Cod is also famous for it's scallops, fried clams and clam shacks, lobster pounds and chowder houses!
Not to be outdone, Rhode Island and Connecticut also have a significant fishing industry. I'm fortunate that we natives get to enjoy fresh, local seafood all year long.
Let me share some of those experiences with you, along with some traditional comfort-food recipes that I hope you'll enjoy.
