Elena Gilbert, a beautiful highschool student mourning her parents' death, furthers her dilemmas by dating Stefan, a humanitarian vampire. His evil vampire brother, Damon, is the perfect villain, bringing sibling rivalry to new heights. Damon causes havoc in Mystic Falls, Virgina by using his twisted determination to coerce Stefan to embrace his brutal vampire nature and by shedding bloodshed among unsuspecting teens.

Absolutely. Damon and Stefan make such a good anti-team. Plus it has one other thing going for it. We already know how the Twilight series will end. Gotta keep watching Vampire Diaries (hopefully for a long time) to see where it's going!

How to weaken or kill a vampire?
on Vampire Diaries
- Sunlight kills a vampire unless of course you have a family ring like the Salvatore's which protects you from the sun.
- Newly made vampires must feed on human blood or they die.
- A family heirloom pocketwatch finds vampires.
- Wooden Stake through the heart does kill a vampire
- Wooden bullets injure them.
- Vervain is poison to vampires if injested, if worn in an amulet like the one worn by Elena it protects you from their powers
