    I have a birthday coming up next month, I really should make a cake because I know the kids and grandkids would like that. I think I'll cartoon my cake!

    Favorited as a future reference. I've got 4 kids and they love fantastic birthday cakes. I'll be sure to let you know how my first one turns out.

    Have you checked the Cake Wrecks blog? I doubt many of those featured decorators have used Wilton techniques - although, some of the designs ARE very good, just highly unedible (a realistic looking baby, a full size model of the bride, etc..)

    I love the butterfly pan and I need to get off the computer and into the kitchen.LOL. Lovely lens with a really great product. I love just looking at the beautiful pieces of artwork the cake decorators make.

    The Wilton website is a great resource for cake decorators. I used their instructions for a Winnie The Pooh shower cake and I know that without their tips on icing tints for that golden pooh color, I would not have figured it out. Great 5* lens and lensrolled you to my Baby Shower Cakes lens!

    The cakes are beautiful. Very partial to cakes. Would take a slice of cake over a bar of chocolate any day!

    374 lenses...wow! I have no idea how you did it. I picked this one since I used to have a love for cake decorating...that was pre internet but I need to get back in to some of my old things.

    Wilton has some great stuff. I made about 50 Mickey Mouse cakes when I was learning to bake. Nice lens!
