Pay Attention to the Small Things
When our love is trying to draw attention to deeper issues that we are aware of, then arguments have to begin with some concrete, but maybe apparently trivial, detail.
There is no other way. If we knew what was going on, we would be halfway to resolving it and not bogged down in disagreements and fights in the first place.
It is often only through disagreements about specific behaviour that we can tap into what is going on at a deeper level.
It is easy to dismiss trivial details such as leaving clothes lying around, the way you greet each other, how you eat, who holds the TV control, not cleaning the bath, and forgetting to put out the rubbish, but no detail is too trivial for love. And if the arguments recur, we must deal with them sooner or later - better sooner.
