Why a wind power generator?
We all need power it is not an option, because the wind produces kinetic energy to produce electricity, there is no bi-product produced, which means no pollution. A wind power generator needs no fuel, no oil and is virtually maintenance free. It just needs some wind to move a wind turbine. There are useful applications for wind powered generators, including charging batteries and powering small appliances and tools.
Harness The Wind And Save.
First, off wind is a natural occurrence that can never be controlled. However, it can be utilized to our benefits. Let us look at the windmill for a minute. If we harness this great natural power and then utilize it for our electricity we can cut down on our own personal petroleum footprint on this planet. A windmill can harness the wind energy which is kinetic in nature; this energy can then be transferred to a wind power generator to run our homes. Blowing In The Wind, For A While.
Because the wind does not blow the same every day many people feel that wind technologies are not useful as energy creation devices. I beg to differ, my take is as follows. I believe that wind is as reliable a source of energy as any other in this world, more so in fact. What people forget is this, just because the wind may not blow on the ground every day, it does blow everyday in the winds aloft. What are the winds aloft you ask yourself, this is the wind above 100 ft, these are the winds aloft. Wind Power, Bank On It, It's Here To Stay.
So maybe we can't get wind on any and every day, but that does not mean the winds are not blowing, because indeed they are. So we have a couple of options, the first is, to utilize more wind mills on the ground, with big battery banks to store our energy for our home on the days the winds do not blow. Another way we can get energy every day is to reinvent the wind mill to capture the powers of the winds that blow high above us every day. This is why a wind power generator is great, wind is never ending, and we only need to be a bit more resourceful to make this a very viable part of our lives. Other Lens That Focus On Home Wind Power
- Homemade Wind Turbines
- So you want to know how you can get a homemade wind turbine.
Well you need to look no further; I will show you a place that will give you what you are looking for... - Electrical Wind Power
- Small Electric Wind Power Systems can provide electricity for remote, off-grid sites, or right in town connected to the grid. Wind systems generally require more maintenance and need more attention than a solar-electric or micro hydro-electric system does.
- Home WInd Trubine
- There is many an option for a home wind turbine. I am sure many people are not aware, once upon a time wind power for home use was at best financially just a dream.
- Solar Wind Power
- The answer is an astounding no. While wind and solar power have always been with us, as long as we have been on this planet, it has never really been utilized together.
- Wind Power Generator
- We all need power it is not an option, because the wind produces kinetic energy to produce electricity, there is no bi-product produced, which means no pollution.
- Wind Power Generators
- Before considering any wind power generators, there are many things to think about. The most important question is; what are my energy needs?
- Wind Turbines Home
- Home wind turbines make power by spinning a generator. This generator is attached to a rotor. These three aerodynamic blades of the rotor spin when the wind hits them at there tangential angles.
- WInd Turbine Designs
- Wind Turbines are designed to exploit the energy from wind. Fundamental aerodynamics tells us, that we cannot extract all of the energy we capture from the wind.
