Wireless Nunchuck Controllers
Recently introduced to the market is the Wireless Nunchuk, which gets rid of the connecting wire, and utilises the wireless technology that the Wii is famous for. There are even adapters to convert your existing Nunchucks into wireless versions.

"Let me say from the start that the only reason I purchased this was to play the boxing games, like Wii sports boxing. Those who are avid players of these games are aware of how frustrating it can become when you're really into the game and find yourself limited in your motion by the two remotes being tethered so close together. I have not found this to be a problem with any other games that I've played so far, only with the boxing games. For this purpose I have found this device to be great! I love being able to make several right crosses or uppercuts without worrying about the nunchuck or the remote being pulled to the point of breaking one or the other. I have found this wireless nunchuck to be very responsive, well, at least AS responsive as the tethered nunchuck. Overall, this has definitely added to my enjoyment of the boxing games and I recommend it fully."

"This works great. Just imagine using the regular Wii Nunchuck without a cord. I never had any lapse in gameplay. You just need to connect the extra piece with this to the wiimote, put batteries in this thing and press the buttons on both to stop the blinking blue light and the light becomes solid. The only negative thing is you need 2 triple A batteries to operate this and those arent the same ones that are used for the wiimote. But it does come with 2 batteries to get you started and the batteries last a long time. But overall this is a great alternative to the regular nunchuck."

"I can't see myself
wanting to go back to
the corded Nunchuk."
"I have enjoyed the Wii since launch. Especially nice for me is the Wii Remote / Nunchuk combination controls, as it let me use a controller like most other people. I have limited use of the left hand, so I could never use a typical PS2 / XBox / GameCube controller the way designers intended it to be used.
With the Wii, I can hold the Nunchuk with the left hand while having it positioned where I have access to the control stick and buttons for my right hand to use. The only problem I've encountered with using the Nunchuk has been the cord, as it can get wrapped around my left hand, or it can whack me in the face now and then. Because of the wrapping around my hand and not realizing it has done so, I have damaged some Nunchuks.
After seeing different Wireless Nunchuk units appear on the market, I got disappointed by them because they were too bulky for me. Finally the Kama came out and I began to be intrigued by it. It seemed to be the answer I was looking for - it was the same size as the normal Nunchuk. I held off for a while because I had problems justifying the cost of the unit. After damaging another wired Nunchuk, I began rethinking by stance on the cost issue.
I then began looking at the reviews on the Kama and saw there were several bad reviews on it, so I was not sure what to do. After getting fed up with the normal Nunchuk I decided to purchase the Kama and give it a shot.
So far it hasn't given me any usage problems, and I have haven't noticed lag issues in the response of the Kama. I plan on using rechargeable batteries with the Kama, as I realize batteries could get expensive if I had to replace them every few days.
Installing the receiver onto the Wii Remote was easy, since it just plugs in like a normal attachment. Synchronizing the receiver and the Kama Nunchuk was quick and I didn't have any problems. Instructions were included that mentioned how to do the synchronizing process, but I did not need to refer to them, as I have several wireless products and am familiar with the process.
As others have stated, the Wii Jackets fit over the receiver with difficulty, although it does stretch it slightly, but not enough to hinder pressing any of the buttons on the Wii Remote. Other sleeves may or may not accommodate the receiver as well.
It has made my life much better while using the Wii. I don't have to be concerned with ruining Nunchuks because of cords getting in my way. This also lets me stay focused on the game and I don't have to keep pausing the game to untangle the cord. I can't see myself wanting to go back to the corded Nunchuk."

- Saw your post in the forum and I agree this is a really, clean layout and fits the Wi nunchuck perfectly! It looks so crisp and easy to read. Your intro is very concise and informative, too. My son uses the original nunchuck and I had no idea they'd come out with a wireless one or a conversion kit. That's great! Very cool lens. :)

- Yep, I'd say that if I had a Wii, your lens has convinced me about the wireless nunchuck. Wouldn't it be cool to go entirely wireless with other connections, utilizing the concept of the nunchuck? Say, how did they come up with this name anyway -- nunchuck that is? PS I like the eBay feed -- tell us how!
