My Secrets to Auction House Success on World of Warcraft

Do you often find yourself struggling to make ends meet? From one upgrade to another, sometimes it's just so difficult to come up with enough money to buy everything you want and need in the game.

Well, not anymore! There are ways to make fast gold on World of Warcraft, easy and 100% legal. Here I will share five sure-fire ways of making all the gold you will never need in game, with the help of Jonathan Kenins Massive Gold Blueprint.

The MGB Way

So what exactly is the Massive Gold Blueprint?

The Massive Gold Blueprint is a method developed by Jonathan Kenins, basically it's using the WoW auction house to your best advantage.
But it's not only that, Massive Gold Blueprint guarantees you gold making success on World of Warcraft!

The tried and true methods of making gold on WoW is something that Jonathan Kenins has tested and tweaked to create an optimal set-up of six alt characters, stationed in specific locations where they became the backbone of a system of "Profit Pipelines" . . . an underground system that works like crazy.

Sounds complicated? Not really! Check out his site for more information on this:

Auction House Secret #1

Browsing around

Go window shopping. There are no actual windows on World of Warcraft, but what's stopping you? Basically, what you do is you scan the Auction house for items and prices. Check the lowest you can buy things for, and the maximum you can sell them. This is just to get an idea of how the economy on your server works.

It doesn't take an economics student to grasp this concept, and it's not much of a secret, but you'd be surprised at how many players forget to play this card.

After you've browsed around and know quite a bit about your server's economy, it's time to look for things to buy to set up your own "pipeline"

Auction House Secret #2

"Pipelining"

The first time I heard this term was on the Massive Gold Blueprint forums.
After you've learned what actually sells on your server, the next step would be buying and selling, BUT you need to have an idea of the real gold-makers in the game.

There are a lot of items in the game from which a good gold-making pipeline could be established. Some of these items are glyphs, Northrend glyphs in particular, like Glyph of Molten Armor and Glyph of Lifebloom which are made from Ink of the Sea.

Herbs like Goldclover, Tiger Lily, Frozen Herb, and Icethorn are also selling for a lot of gold in most servers.

Take into account what you have learned in the first step, and apply it to this step.

Auction House Secret #3

Auction house and annoying players

So you've got a good set up going, you're buying 'hot' items, and selling them at the Auction House for a good price, and making pretty good profits. Then someone comes along, and guess what? This person starts wrecking your game!

They would just come in, and start selling the same items for a third of the price you usually sell for. It's very annoying! So what you have to do is to beat this person at his own game. Drive him out of business if possible! It's sort of like slaying a tough monster when you're trying to level, but this time, this monster is getting in your way of making money. Don't compete with him and drive your prices down way lower than his, you'll be on the losing end of the deal. Play smart!

Dropping your prices only means you're losing gold, and it doesn't guarantee that this player will go away. Just keep your prices as it is, maybe drop a few coppers to a very, very few silvers, nothing drastic. If this annoying person doesn't take the hint and go away, you can whisper him and try to make him see sense, and if that still doesn't work, well move on to another pipeline for a few days until he goes away.

Auction House Secret #4

Time is of the essence

Generally, you want your items in the auction house to appear at the top of the listings, above your competitors. Which usually means setting your prices lower than theirs. But not necessarily! You can get the same result (being first listed at the top of the page) by lowering your starting bid price. That way, you can set the same buyout price as your competitor, but you will appear higher up the rankings than them because of your lower bid price.

Time management is another thing, you have to get the right setting for your auction timer, so you can get the most out of what you list. Most people put up the longest 48 hours when they're selling something, it seems logical enough to think that this would give you the best chance of selling something.

But this method doesn't make sense when you are sure of the prices, (which you should be). If you're following the Massive Gold Blueprint method, you should set your auction time to a maximum of 24 hours, this works because you know the prices, and if the item doesn't sell within that amount of time, it's not going to sell at a longer duration anyway.

At least with 24 hours, you will also be minimizing the deposit fee you're going to lose if you miss the market.

Auction House Secret #5

Don't miss the market!

You can prevent this happening to you by logging in daily so you can keep monitoring the market, check for competitors, and update your auction house listings.
