Wood Family Vineyards
Livermore Valley Wine Country
Though fairly new on the Livermore winemaking scene, Wood Family wines have already earned numerous awards at county and state fair competitions. This early interest led Sunset magazine to choose the 2002 Syrah for its wine club in 2005. Livermore Valley grapes are used exclusively for winemaking, due to unique qualities of the soil and climate. At harvest time, grapes are hand picked during the cool evening/early morning hours.
Wood Family Vineyards is located at 7702 Cedar Mountain Drive in Livermore, California.

Several Livermore Valley wineries are featured, including Thomas Coyne Winery, Livermore Valley Cellars, Fenestra Winery, Wente Vineyards, and artwork by Darcie Kent.

- Ah, another awesome Vineyard lens! Kim, you've got so many amazing wine-related lenses, have you done a Vineyard group / lensography yet? I'd love to see maybe one of those zee maps that show all the vineyards mapped to a US map or something comparable. 5***** -- would give ya more if I could. ;)
