What Are The Benefits To Choosing Anderson Wood Replacement Windows?
If the time has finally come for you to replace the old windows in your house, then you know about all the choices available to you right now. You have the choice of vinyl, aluminum and even wood replacement windows, but how can you know which one is best for you and your home? New windows are an investment and you want to know you're making the best choice. When it comes right down to it, there are many name brands to choose from, such as Pella and Marvin Aluminum, but if you're looking for quality wood windows, then Anderson is the best choice.
Anderson wood replacement windows are best known for quality and the craftsmanship of these windows is unmatched by any of the others in the industry. These windows are made from an exclusive Fibrex material which gives them the strength and stability of wood along with the low maintenance features of vinyl. That means that you have the option to either paint the interior of your windows, stain it or leave it for a natural wood look. The outer vinyl cladding will not fade with age and is completely maintenance free. A key benefit of the Fibrex material used in these windows is that it makes an excellent insulation, which prevents heat and cold from coming into or leaving your home.
Along with color, design and lifestyle benefits, there are also environmental benefits to choosing this type of wood replacement windows. All of the wood fibers that are used in the building process, along with some of thermoplastic polymers that make these windows heat resistant, are reclaimed from the 65-acre manufacturing plant operations. This makes these windows the first and only Green Seal Certified replacement windows on the market. And this means you can feel good about putting them in your home.
Whether you're trying to match your home's current look or update it a little, wood replacement windows will give you a wide range of options and every window is customized to match the individuality of your home. Whether you're trying to improve energy efficiency or just replacing windows that no longer work, now is the time to consider making the switch thanks to the new bill called the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This bill, which was signed into law by President Obama, grants homeowners who install energy efficient windows and doors into their home a tax credit of up to 30% the cost of the windows.

- The feds are still paying up to $3,000 in tax credits for updating old leaky windows and doors. Check with your local Lowe's or Home Depot to see if they have windows and doors that qualify.
