Pallets, Stillages, ISPM15

Even in today's time Wooden pallets or Wood Pallets as they say are still in high demand, both to existing customers and new customers. Generally Wooden pallets are a cheaper alternative despite rises in timber prices, mainly because they are strong, can be re-used numerous times and can be repaired to further prolong their life. Even when it reaches at a stage where it goes beyond repair, pallets can be shredded to create wood chips, with a variety of uses. At the same time, even at the end of a pallet's life the wood can be re-used as an energy source or chipped to produce OSB or particle boards. Hence, in this way wood pallets or wooden pallets are still in high demand.

Even now when wooden pallets are still in high demand, Plastic pallets are a viable alternative to wooden pallets and are preferred in some industries, e.g. chemicals, catering, health care, food and drink. Today when keeping the environment green has become so essential, the sustainability of forestry have also encouraged many users to move to plastic pallets manufactured from recycled materials. Plastic pallets can be steam cleaned or washed. Additionally, specialist Hygienic Pallets can be supplied on request. These have totally smooth and sealed enclosed surfaces, removing any possibility of impurities accumulating in the pallet's structure. Plastic pallets have a good life span of up to ten years.

ISPM15 basically stands for International Standard for Phytosanitary Measure No.15. It is actually a Heat Treatment / ISPM15 pallets which are necessary and used for Export. In order to prevent the risk of customers sending untreated pallets into 'at risk' areas, we operate a complete pallet management system where pallets are carefully tracked. Our export pallets are marked to show that they comply with the new phyto-sanitary standards. We have also implemented rigorous checking procedures and systems to demonstrate that this is the case. Few rules have to be strictly followed when it come to exports. For example The Heat Treatment stamp should be visible on each pallet.

Basically Stillages and Cages are storage devices that are used for safe and efficient product storage as well as to provide protection during transportation. We have a range which range includes steel and mesh-sided cages, stillages, post pallets, roll cages and pallet converters. Cage-pallet and rolltainer systems are collapsible yet extremely strong.
