Work From Home with Killer Success (SECRETES REVEALED!)
I have tried my hardest to provide you with legitimate ways to make money from home and avoid the many work at home scams that have over run the Internet. However, I am just a guide. Your best defense in avoiding scams is to listen to yourself.
Other sites say the same thing. They tell you that they have revealed the work from home scams and are providing you only with legitimate job opportunities. However, they tell you this in an effort to purchase one of the products that they are selling. You will notice that I do not promote any programs that require you to charge money.
So your first lesson in picking a work at home offer is -
Never pay money to get a job-even a job that allows you to work from home.
With that in mind lets move on.
Lesson 1. How to avoid scams
Their are a lot of programs out their and a lot of people trying to rip you off.
More work from home scams exist than legitimate job listings. So, How do you determine which ones are duds and which ones are good? First off, you need to spend some time researching the program and getting all the details before hand. Don't rush into anything. No matter how short lived the position might look to be. The time you spend in advance will save you in the end. Here are some points to conceder.1. Use common sense. If it sounds too good to be true, it is. Be carefully of listings that guarantee you wealth or financial success or that will help you get rich fast from home. They will probably do none of the above.
2. Take your time. Promoters of fraudulent business opportunities are likely to use high-pressure sales tactics to get you to buy in.
3. Nothing will make you tons of money overnight. Sorry.
4. Consider the figures they present as the top 0.01% not the averages. If they say people are making $50-$100 a day, figure that only one out of a thousand people are making that. The other 999 people are making considerably less.
Reviewing a Web Site and the Work from Home Job Offer
How to review a Work at Home offer to see if its worth it or not.
1: Review the Web Page# Are there a lot of misspelled words and grammar errors? This is a sign of one of two things. Either the web site did not put in a lot of effort or the web page was done by someone out of the United States. Either of these things should be warning signs of potential fraudulent sites.
# Does it use free web hosting services (such as Tripod or Geocities) or free web email services (such as Yahoo! Mail or Hotmail)?
2. Check it out.
There are several governmental sites that can help you identify legitimate businesses from fraudulent ones.
# The Better Business Bureau: This is probably the most well-known of all the organizations that help to protect you. They offer valuable resources and information on all types of businesses. It can be tricky to find the information in the searches, so do multiple searches until you find it.
# The Federal Trade Commission: Do a search for here and you can get a ton of information. Among the wealth of info you can find out which companies are being or have been investigated and/or taken to court by the FTC.
# National Fraud Information Center: Provides lots of valuable resources about all sorts of scams including: telephone, mail, and on line scams.
3. Evaluate the claims
# How much fine print is there? Look for the 10 pt font (this size or smaller) and read it carefully. That's where they hide the important stuff.
Types of Home Based Jobs
A quick overview of home based jobs you can get.
Their are many types of home based jobs, Below are listed the basic types and a quick description of them.* Pay per Action
These state you can money reading emails, viewing ads, or surfing the Internet. These sites offer all types of actions you can get paid for: clicking ads, reading emails, surfing the Internet or participating in offers. A good example of this type of site is Inbox dollars.
* Home Assembly and Crafting
What could be more fun than earning money making crafts or other projects at home? Tasks vary from sewing projects to assembling CD cases and making candles. Each one promising the "investor" they could be making hundreds of dollars a week working only a few hours a day.
* Envelope Stuffing Jobs
For a small processing fee, you will receive a "starter kit" or they will tell you how to earn money stuffing envelopes at home. It sounds like they will send you envelopes and flyers and you spend your time inserting, addressing and mailing out envelopes. But that's not what happens... so AVOID THESE TYPES OF JOBS LIKE THE PLAGUE.
* Online Surveys
These sites pay you a fee or enter your name in to a online drawing for cash or prizes. My experience with this was promising. You just have to get many company's to send you surveys and you can make some cash with it.
* Mystery Shopping
If you're really interested in becoming a mystery shopper, I would recommend you check out the Mystery Shopping Providers Association. They have a certification program for mystery shopper wannabees, and it appeared that many companies that I looked it did inquire if applicants had completed this course. I would check with the agency in advance on their policies.
* Data Entry
Data Entry jobs sound promising. Simply by paying a fee, sometimes as much as $100 or more, a person will start receiving offers from companies that need help entering data online. All you have to do is enter in short 3-4 line sentences or copy data onto forms provided. (AVOID THESE TYPES OF WORK AS MOST ARE SCAMS!)
* Medical Transcription
Most times these are scams as well. They will have you believe that if you enter in some patience records you will get paid .. when in reality most doctor offices do this them selfs.
* Job Boards
There are far too many free job boards to require anyone to pay for the service. Warning, many legitimate job boards are being targeted by criminals who then solicit work from home frauds. Although job boards such as Craig's List, Monster and CareerBuilders have systems in place to try and "sniff" out fraudulent posts and remove them; it is not a perfect system.
