Work from home typing, online survey's and data entry in general are dangerous places to look when you are searching for money online. Take advantage of the things I learnt below...

1. Outrageous Promises:
For example we will look at some of the promises these sites make. Many sites claim to give as much as $300/day for doing nothing but copying and pasting information into a new document.

Now this is pretty obviously untrue, if it were true everyone on the planet would be doing the same thing. So the data entry sites have been getting more clever and started to disguise themselves much more effectively. **

2. Unrealistic Expectations:
Another thing that typical data entry sites do is have lots of exciting words that play on our desires for wealth and material belongings. They will have enticing pictures of luxury cars, beaches, mansions and other things to make you want their offer enough to pay their fee. Real data entry jobs are never like this, they are very professional and if anything, a little bit boring, just like the true job itself. If you want to know what work from home typing is like, imagine having to write 500 word articles like your back in school and getting paid very little to do it.

Why get paid so little? Because anyone can do it! This means thousands of people are already doing it, which means heavy competition, which means not much money for you.

Most of the time these sites give you access to (free to access if you can use google) freelance websites like elance.com. On these sites people can place bids on work offers placed by people who want to get data entry work outsourced. Thousands of people want these data entry jobs and they all outbid each other til the price is almost unbelievably low. Add to that the fact that people from Asia are willing to do the same work for a much lower cost, your chances of making any money are sorely limited.

Since the advent of computers, and since the beginning of typing, the need to collect and neatly present documents has required people who work from home typing. Good typists, especially those who are also excellent at 10-key typing are the most qualified for data entry positions, people who aren't trained will have a tough time competing with these typists.

1. What You Need To Succeed:
People who work exclusively in work from home typing are likely to be quick typists, able to read off longhand or typewritten documents, and must be accurate. For spreadsheets or for documentation that will be published or printed, typos can result in misinformation or embarrassing errors.

2. What You Will Experience:
Work from home typing requires focus and concentration, and some find the work exhausting and even challenging to the body. For any person who types all day, paying attention to maintaining good posture, typing in an ergonomically sound position, and taking breaks for the eyes and hands are all important.

Most experts in workplace ergonomics suggest that people entering long streams of data should take a break at least once an hour by moving away from the computer screen. Hand exercises and stretching exercises for the body may also help prevent typing related injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome. Take care of yourself or you might end up like my boney friend here!

What I have tried to explain to here today is that work from home typing is not the easy and simple thing that it seems. It in fact takes quite alot of dedication and focus do make even a small amount of money and that is if you are able to even find work with all the scams and competition around.

Alternative Solutions:
Now I also want to let you know that data entry and work from home typing aren't the only options you can take when trying to make some money online. I'll let you in on what I've been doing, it's called Internet Marketing. This is by far the best and most honest way to make money online.
