You Can Work at Home!

Six years ago I was fed up with the corporate world and desperately wanted to be at home when my kids got off the bus. I turned to the Internet in search of a way to make money from home. I found myself on the computer for hours on end trying to decipher all of the work at home business opportunities. I was naive and believed that I too could make thousands of dollars on the Internet with little effort. Even though I had heard the saying "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is," I was so motivated that I ignored my inner voice.

Over the next couple of years I tried several work at home businesses and was disappointed with each failure. See I believed then, as I believe now, that you can be successful and earn a living on the Internet. Unfortunately, I didn't always do my homework and I often got taken by scams.

I started to research home based businesses and read about successful entrepreneurs. I soon realized that you must offer value with any business. It isn't enough to get 20 other people to sign on...you have to offer a quality service or product to be successful.

I created a dating website and then a retail website. Neither was terribly successful. Now that is not to say that dating and retail websites can't be successful, it just wasn't my calling. My second realization was that you had to do something that you are truly passionate about and have knowledge about.

In 2005, with four years research and experience about online businesses under my belt, I created WorkatHomeClinic.com. The website provides information about work at home business opportunities, home parties, office supply retailers, and franchises. We offer affordable advertising and classifieds. I hope to help those with same dream I had to work at home.
