How to effectively build your WorldVentures business using attraction marketing and the internet.

For 3 years now I've heard that it is not possible to build a solid residual income using the internet to attract leads. (particularly from more experienced network marketers) This is far from the reality of building a WorldVentures team over the internet. There are some unique challenges of using this "high tech" technology while also maintaining "high touch". I will address these issues and solutions in this lens.

The Importance of Being Both "High Tech" And "High Touch" for WorldVentures 

So here is the main question: "Can a solid WorldVentures income be built using the internet?"

To clarify even further, solid residual income comes from having a solid team and very close relationships. So the real question is, "Can trust be built over the internet?"

Communication is the catalyst to building trust when you're online. Communication is much easier to do in person as over 90% of all communication is non-verbal. Because we are using phones, email, and skype, we miss much of the communication that is intended for us when we form relationships online. However, trust is formed over time when consistent actions are seen. If you can show people your TRUE being by using technology and communicating with text, audio, and video, it becomes much more easy to establish trust through internet marketing. (As long as you are a trustworthy person in the first place.)
Below we will cover ways for you to have communication via the internet.

I'm sure you've seen leaderboards in various network marketing companies where some internet marketer with a huge list or huge internet marketing ability enrolls 2, 5, or even 10 times more new members than the closest "belly to belly" marketer in the same company. This is an example of utilizing the "high tech" of the internet to expose many, many more people to WorldVentures than would be possible through someone's "warm market".

The downside to most internet marketers is their inability to connect with their new members and get them upgraded and trained properly in the business. There are internet marketing systems out there that specialize in teaching Internet Marketing Skills and how to properly grow through the internet, but many new members still need the 1-on-1 personal touch that they would normally get through their sponsor. (Many internet marketers ONLY slam people in, send them a link to go train, and never call that new member again - This is a HUGE mistake - Do NOT make this choice.) The internet marketers who behave in this way always have VERY high attrition rates. (Attrition is the measure of how many members leave the business.)

One key to growing a thriving WorldVentures business, grown 100% online, is for the internet marketer to create a culture of communication. This begins with an immediate phone call to the new member joining the team. If the internet marketer chooses not to make this call themselves, they need to find an upline member or sponsor to do it for them, or they need to hire it out to a VERY competent & trained individual. (Which can be one of their experienced & existing downline teammates.) There have been many times where I have called someone once, had a 10-15 minute conversation learning about who they are and their goals...and they have stayed on the team for years from that one conversation. (Of course, regular contact is the BEST way to grow a thriving relationship with anyone.)

Beyond the initial call to a new (or existing) teammate, another great technique is to immediately 3-way your new member into your upline and/or sponsor. This shows the new member that they have the support of multiple upline teammates. It also allows them to form multiple relationships in the organization, which helps to solidify them feeling part of a "group".

Aside from phone calls, there is the ever-popular email. Email takes longer to build up relationships and trust this way...but it does work. There is also Skype, which is a free tool which allows you to chat over your computer microphone, which makes international calls free and relatively clear. (As long as both parties have a strong internet connection.)

I have an email policy in place in my team that anyone that emails me, must also include all upline members between where they are at and where I am at. Here's an example, let's say I have enrolled person "A", who enrolled person "B", who enrolled "C".
If "C" wanted to email me, I would have them also include (cc/carbon copy) both "B" and "A" on that email. Ideally we want to train the whole "line of sponsorship" at the same time. If it's a question that only I can answer, then I want "A" & "B" to learn the answer while I get it to "C" so that next time the same question comes up from anyone else in that line of sponsorship, all 3 of "A", "B", and "C" already know the answer and can field the question. (true duplication, and true communication.) Ideally, you want to raise up leadership in your downline so that one day you CAN leave the business for months or even years...but yet the leadership on the team runs 100% perfectly without you in the picture. (This takes years and most WorldVentures network marketers never reach this point where they can walk away and still keep a growing residual income.)

Webconferences are another way to communicate to massive amounts of people on the team at the same time. The best software I have some across is gotoMeeting. (This software also has a free trial)
These are an essential part of the business as you MUST employ Pareto's Principle. (Better known as the 80/20 rule) A full 20% of your team will account for 80% of your income, while the remaining 80% of the team will only account for 20% of your income. You must spend any 1-on-1 time/energy on the 20% making you the 80%. For the remaining 80% of the team, you must use group settings to work with them. (Ignorance of this principle cost me many thousands of dollars in the first year and a half of my network marketing career.)

Of course last we will cover video. This is one of the fastest growing areas in all of internet marketing. Because 90% of communication is non-verbal, utilizing video you are able to communicate MUCH more effectively and build up trust online. While the vast majority of internet marketers have grown vast empires through just text & emails, video is very quickly becoming the preferred way for everyone on the internet to do business. It's the perfect way for everyone to actually to get to "work from home", but yet still have communications that are near real-life. (Of course, there is a lot about "energy" and intuition that takes place in a physical, real-life communication, so we are still missing that.)
