WowWee Wrex The Dawg Robotic Dog

There are a lot of different robotic toys out there for kids (or for adults for that matter). Here are just a few of the features that make WowWee Wrex The Dawg an excellent choice for tons of entertainment:

WowWee Wrex looks like he was made from spare parts and this actually gives him a sort of funny charm. He exhibits some occasional odd behavior just like you would expect any junk yard robot to do. He even sometimes thinks he's a cat.

He has three moods: happy, angry and crazy. (Yes, I suppose crazy does quality as a mood. We've all experienced it.) He also has three desires: exercise, call of nature and hunger. You can always tell what he's thinking about because it is literally displayed in his eyes. His eyes rotate like slot machines to show you his different moods and desires.

You can control him completely or you can just let him roam around on his own and see what mischief he gets into.

Reminds Me Of Scooby-Doo

I received WowWee Wrex The Dawg yesterday for Christmas. He reminds me a lot of Scooby-Doo. He sounds like him, and his personality is like him-innocent yet a little naughty. There are two ways to operate him. 1 is his large remote. 2 he has a number pad on his back to type the numbers for his commands. Here are a few of the things Wrex does. He shakes, growls, plays dead, goes dizzy, slides, begs, charges, whistles, howls, and gets excited. He pretends to chase his tail, catch flies, take a wiz, pass gas, sneeze, bite, and dance. I do not feel he is meant to be a dog for someone that wants a real dog. He is more for someone that wants to laugh and be entertained. I like how I am in control, so I get to tell him what trick to do when.

So much fun!

My son got frustrated with it at first, since it sometimes acts like a real dog and does what it wants to do, but once he realized that was what it was doing, it just added to the fun. My child plays with this almost daily, and has gotten quite a kick out of it. Being a second-grade boy, he loves that it farts and pees.

It's really a one-of-a-kind toy that is worth every cent I paid. I highly recommend it!

The kids love it!

I bought this as a Christmas present for a 10 and 8-year old and they love it! Us adults were enjoying playing with it too! It's a lot of fun and the commands are hilarous!
