Is Writing For You

Maybe you never considered writing as an option for a home based business. In today's online marketplace, there is a huge demand for writers to write articles on a wide variety of topics. Attraction marketing and social networking has demanded that people produce helpful information to their potential customers in the form of written articles, blogs, lenses, etc.

Do You Write?

Let's get an idea of just how much writing you have ever done or have ever thought of doing? How many of us even consider this a way to earn money from home?

Is Writing To Earn Money Online Profitable?

Does writing articles for the sound like a way to earn money online? It actually can be quite profitable. You don't have to be a writing expert as it is mostly like speaking to someone about something you are good at. The spell checkers and grammar checkers on most word processing software take care of those issues for you if you were not a top student in English or writing in school. This can be an interesting and profitable small home-based business online.

First your title is the most important part of your article. It must be based on your keywords and should be unique. Keywords are those words describing what your article is about. Something called long-tail keywords are really just keyword phrases and often are better that just a single word. An article is not unlike a speech. First you tell people what you are going to tell them, then you tell them, and finally you tell them what you just told them. As I said the title is most important and it may be the only thing a reader scans when researching on the search engines.

Second is your tone of voice. It needs to be friendly and engaging. If it is too eloquent or stuffy, your reader may just be turned off. Think about how you would be talking to a friend or family member during lunch while describing a new way you found to train your new puppy.

Third you need to write about something that you may be considered an expert in. You say you are not an expert in anything you can write about? Do some research and become the expert. You have to become known as the person the reader or readers will go to when they need information on your particular topic. This is called finding your niche. Your niche is your very small area that you have learned enough about to write about over and over again and still remain informative and interesting to your readers.

If you find yourself running out of ideas to write about in your niche, just rewrite an article that you have already written and you may become inspired all over again. Of course, you can always begin research and start all over again with a new niche and become an expert at yet another niche.

Writing to Pre-sell Your Product or Company

How to do it.

Is Pre-selling your product or service or company different from attraction marketing. I don't think so. When writing you want to sound real and provide real value to your readers--not like most people's image of a salesman. Sales, however, is a very long time profession. True salespeople really do try to provide real value for their customers because they want those customers to return. So how does this relate to your writing?

You must in your writing be able to say clearly how great something is to someone else but as one trusted friend to another. People want to be able to trust others but self-interest is abundant in the internet marketing world. There are lots and lots of scammers making the rest of us look bad.

When you write to Pre-sell, you need to find your own voice and not write like other people. Your readers need to know that you care about them; and if you don't, it will show in your tone of voice in your writing. Your passion must be in helping other people--the money comes later. Is your writing sincere? You should be able to share your experiences and tell stories about your product, service or company.

Without product experience, you will have a difficult time being passionate or sincere. Product or company experience also allows you to speak as an expert with first-hand knowledge. You would never want to promote something that isn't any good regardless of high comissions, right? This definitely shines through in your writing.

Your writing should always follow a particular niche. In other words, you wouldn't want to write about dog training on a nutrition site. Your site and products or company should follow one specific niche.

Your objective in writing in your articles, blogs, lenses, websites or wherever is to provide enough benefit to your readers that they want to keep following you and eventually, they will be asking you to join your company or purchase your products because you have show them the value they are looking for.

It's not about YOU. It is always about your readers and potential customers.
