Xmas songs have been with us for donkey's years and , well you either love 'em or hate 'em. One thing you can't do is get away from them. LOL!
They are EVERYWHERE! In the pub, in the shops, in the lift, at home...
We have a big tradition here in the UK all about which song will make the Xmas No.1.
There have been some good ones (though not many) and there have been some downright embarrassments.

Well the un-glaming of the lens didn't seem to work so I've maxed it again as I prefer the maxed version. I would take it up with support but as this is just a short term fun lens it's probably not worth the hassle.

in reply to Vstar Cheers! Pat. Glad you like the lens. As it was just for fun and by definition will only be temporary I wasn't too concerned about the ads being displayed. I've changed the setting now, not to display Glam ads, but had to un-max the lens to do that.
Now, as I write this, it's displaying a prominent ad for a Bank!! Not sure which is better really. LOL!
Doesn't really matter... while the lens is still climbing the rankings at the moment it's bound to drop back early in the New Year, if not before.

Are you aware that your lens is still displaying Glam ads?
When you opt to Charity, Squidoo is supposed to stop dispaying Glam ads
I had the same issue, so I contacted support and they fixed it up for me.
