If you've ever delved into daytime television's world of soap operas, then you're probably familiar with Susan Lucci, who play Erica Kane on All My Children. So we can see why it has been so successful, having a beautiful and famous spokesperson like Susan Lucci behind it, but does why is it better than other home microdemabrasion systems?

Youthful Essence claims two major advantages over its competitors, citing better ingredients in the microdermabrasion cream included in the system, as well as a far better applicator tool, being the result of 3 years of intensive research. In fact, they've just announced that the tool has just been redesigned to be waterproof, a lovely benefit!

In addition, they also point out that through their automatic refill program, the worry and headache of finding and purchasing replacement cream or pads is eliminated. Though I personally would want to be sold on the product first, once I knew I enjoyed it, automatic ordering would be a godsend. The way it works is that they simple ship 90 days worth of supplies to the same shipping address every three months, so you don't have to make an extra trip to the store.

Clearly, Youthful Essence by Susan Lucci has some key selling points. The cost if higher than other home microdermabrasion kits however, so it's up to you how much your skin is worth to you. Or put it another way, or you a penny pincher like me, or do you want the top of the line no matter if its the most expensive?
