Zrii Hostile Takeover?
Was this an act of concerned distributors trying to save their beloved company from the devices of a greedy CEO, or was this a calculated attempt at a hostile takeover?
Zrii is not Unique
The Product may be One-of-a-Kind, but This Story is All Too Familiar
All of that may end up being null and void, because last week there was a lot of turmoil in the corporate offices. Zrii CEO William Farley received a letter from the top distributors in the company. In it, they accused him of tainting the reputation of the company, and demanded his immediate resignation. Rather than succumb to the pressure, Farley countered and cancelled their contracts, effectively firing them. His stance is that he has done nothing wrong, and that the distributors had planned a hostile takeover of the company, spurred on by their own greed.
Someone is not telling the truth in this. Time will reveal who that is, but it may be too late to reverse the damage which has already been done. As unique as the Zrii product may be, this situation is anything but, unfortunately. Greed does funny things to people, and there have been many companies, not just in the MLM industry, that collapsed due to the greed of one person or a few individuals.

Zrii Provides a Lesson for All Network Marketers
Don't be an MLM Victim
It is simply the realistic recognition that stability is an illusion when you are balancing on someone else's shoulders. This latest situation with the Zrii founders and CEO going to war with one another could damage the company beyond repair, and many people who were relying on the Zrii commission checks will be wondering what to do next. The lesson here is that to have true stability you have to learn to stand on your own two feet.
To do that you must acquire the necessary skills to be able to position yourself as a solutions provider, and allow the company to become one of several back-end income streams. MLM companies claim that becoming a distributor with them represents the opportunity to work for yourself and be your own boss. The reality is, if you are limiting yourself to just one stream of income, you are not working for yourself. You are simply a sales agent for your company. You aren't really running your own business until you have the ability to drop a company if they no longer reflect your ideals or business values.
Learn more about the ongoing Zrii scandal and how it affects you, whether you are a distributor with the company or not. If you do not educate yourself to become a true independent business owner, than you will almost surely find yourself a victim at some point down the road.
