I've got to be honest with you....Ive plonked this post in here because I forgot to mention it above lol :).
But I rarely see these points mentioned,
1. You can download the guide as many times as you want. You are not limited to a time sensitive download period and then just given access when updates occur. Once you have the guide you can download today, tomorrow when ever. This is handy because there are times when for instance you may need to re-install either Wow or windows on your machine.
2. Do you have 2 players in your house? Do you both play on seperate computers? Well one good bit of news, that is rarely mentioned is the fact that your copy will play on a second PC within your house. So if for instance your wife / husband plays or your son / daughter plays on a seperate machine to yours.......yep you got it they can use your copy of Zygor Guides.
About point 2 you may wonder "well isn't that open to abuse, I could simply supply everyone I know with the guide?" Well without access to the constant updates that Zygor Guides make, due to the patches Wow apply, the guide you gave them will become outdated.
Still just thought I would pop this short post in, off now for a cuppa :) enjoy !!

You need to ask yourself these questions.
1. Are you able to level any World of Warcraft character from 1 to 80 in under 8 days game time (i am being conservative with the time here)
2. Do you have to constantly stop your gameplay to Alt-Tab out of game to find answers, quest locations etc by visiting Wowhead / Thotbott.
3. Do you know exactly which quests to take, where they are and who gives them.
4. Do you end up guessing how to spend that talent point or whether the talent build you've found is best for light speed leveling.....

World of Warcraft is as you most probably know a huge game! The content involved with such a game is absolutely mind boggling. When i first started playing my Pally, for days I was running around like some headless chicken picking up any and all quests, this was back in the days when the game was first launched.As time went on I learnt of a resource called thotbott, cool I thought, my leveling started to get more organised and speedier. However most of the time saved not running around finding things was now being spent searching thotbott trying one explanation after another, this was much faster, however it still took valuable time away from my enjoyment of the game.
Along came the power leveling guys like
Joana's 1 to 70 Guide
World of Warcraft Brian Kopps 1-70 Alliance Guide.
These were fantastic guides, but they had one drawback. They were not in game, meaning that you had to Alt-tab out to read the guide or watch a video and then return. I wish I could say that Zygors 1 to 80 Alliance Guide was different at first, but it was'nt. With Zygors guides you still had to alt-tab out of the game slowing leveling, the qualiy of the guide was and is exceptional.
It wasTeam Idemise! who then set a standard through developing what they called "Mapmod". However within the guide there were sections and co-ordinate's missing which let it down. There is now a version 3 of mapmod so these issues may have been rectified.
This is where John Cook and his Zygor Guides took up the challenge to create an in-game guide that gave the best of both worlds. A guide that was both in-game and detailed to the point of having a laser focused accuracy.

Supersonic or not ?
I have played World of Warcraft since the days they opened the gates to Ironforge. There was me with my little Pally all reved up to go. As i mentioned above soon i found the good old site, Thottbot and Wowhead. What a savior they were and hats off to them for the amazing service they provide. However there is a drawback.......* Going to such places for quests and strategies takes time away from your gaming
* Are you sure what you are looking for is worth your time and effort (espeacially if your a newbie)
* When your actually in-game, which quests to do and where to find them.
* What about collecting and completeing quests in a quick and orderly fashion. To put it another way are you running around like a headless chicken.
* When you visit Thotbott etc multiple answers to one question. Are you sure which one is best for you and more important whether it serves the goal of getting to 70 quicker?
* Do you end up in the position where you have a quest completed only to realise that you either can't find or don't know who to hand in to? Some times they are on the other side of the WOW world.
Now i have to admit i am making WOW look like some tedious and tiresome chore and that could'nt be further from the truth, even if you are using thott etc to speed up your leveling. WOW is great, you want to be spending all your game time, actually in the game and not surfing for info on the net, leaving your character open to attack (a nightmare on a PVP server).
I have to be honest and blunt about it, this is where Zygors 1 to 80 alliance and Horde Guide! fills all the tick box's. This guide brings together the ease of having a guide and the ability of staying in game. But that is only a small fraction of the benefits, they come thick and fast.
As mentioned the guide is cram packed at just over 300 pages with instruction that pull you up by the socks for the goal of reaching level 80 at a blistering pace. It covers all classes and races. The early starting area's are fully covered, so you are not in the position where you have to wait till you reach a certain level to use the guide. The guide is good to go from lvl 1.
But the greatest function of the guid is the actual addon which enables the guide to run in-game, making alt-tab (leaving the game) redundant. I really can't do this addition to the guide justice here so i would suggest you go take a look at the sneak peek vid's on this page if youo have'nt done so already and then come back here.
What really impressed me about Zygors 1 to 80 Alliance and Horde Guide! was the simplicity of it. Simple step by step, you are not given a huge chunk of info which you have to remeber and then action, the whole process is explained as you are doing it, for instance whilst killing mobs it will let you know when you need to move on, when and where you need to hearth stone to cut down you traveling, flight paths at the exact time you need them and where to go to get them and more and more and more lol.......
At the time of writing this there were 2 bonus's available and i am unsure if they are permanant or if not whether they will be offered again. They are....
* A free Netherdrake guide. Shows you exactly step by step how to obtain one in double quick time once you get to 70.
*THIS IS AWESOME. A Free Talent Guide. This makes the guide work like it's on steriods. You are guided talent by talent what to spend on. How many times do you look at builds on the web, respec (spending gold) only to find it does'nt suit either you or your strategy / play style or even worse you end up with quite simply a weak build. The talents you pick following the guide, are specifically tailored to enabling what ever class you play to blast through the leveling process at lightning speed.
To wrap it all up this guide helped me no end and I honestly say that. If you think that I am bulling up the guide take a look HERE! at a review i did of the Team Idemise Guide. Not quite so great a review for them as Zygors Guide has here.
Zygors guide is awsome thats all I can say.
Oh I did mention i would give the good and the BAD lol. Well the Zygor guide could do with a larger community. Thats the bad bit done. , Edit : There is now a thriving community and forum which you have acces to.
If you are looking for a guide that is the Aston Martin of guides this is it. I would say Rolls Royce but they're to slow lol.

Zygor Guides. Did you know.
Just a short entry here.Since i have started using Zygor Guides in game addon, one thing that i found really great, is where your task in a quest is find certain objects, (for instance a plant that you have to pick).
Now with Zygor Guides, as the guide automatically updates and the next quest involves such a task then Zygor Guides in game addon not only guides you to the mobs for your quest and informs you of they're location and automatically directs you there. If the quest involves openeing many items or picking a certain plant, Zygor Guides addon will give you an explanation of what the object looks like. This is great since if it is the first time on the particular quest you most probably don't have a clue what you would be looking for and some of the plants etc are a nightmare to find lol.
How to Install Zygor Guides
It is dead easy.
Ok so once you have decided to aquire Zygor Guides and have down loaded it you now have the small job of installing it.
This really is simple.
1. Go to the zipped file you downloaded.
2. You want to extract all the files zipped inside. Double click on the zip file. Now select the folders inside by right clicking and then choose extract. Choose a place you will remember when extracting the files. I often choose desktop.
3. There will now be 3 folders extracted.

Zygor Guides Alliance (will be horde in horde folder)
Cartographer
4. Now you want to go to your World of Warcraft addons folder. This is where you will place your Zygor Guides extracted folders. The default location for the addons folder is :-
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns
Once you have located your addons folder simply copy your Zygor Guides folders into the addons folder.
Oh and do this while Wow is not running :)

I had considered taking this article out of the lens since Zygor Guides have tackled the subject of grinding, making it non-existent from 70-80 and they are in the process of taking what little grinding there is in the 1 to 70 levels. But I think that the advice here should be followed to maximise your time and leveling in Wow.
After playing World of Warcraft now for sometime I guess I have picked a few hints in my time. I guess it's not a hint, but one of the best things I have picked up was Zygor Guides.
There are many 1 to 80 or even 1 to 60 Leveling Guides out there and a lot of them contain some moderation of grinding. Grinding in terms of World of Warcraft is where you run out of useful quests to propel your momentum to the next level and have to choose a mob, to consistently kill till you reach the next level. I have yet to come across a guide that does not contain this, Zygors 1 to 80 Alliance and Horde Leveling Guide included,although it is kept down to a bare minimum.
Even Joana's Horde Leveling Guide contains this tactic. Really speaking it is unavoidable in either a 1 to 80 or 1 to 60 guide. You see at the end of the day it is all about how fast you can complete your Alliance or Horde leveling and if at certain points, the quests are either not worth completing, or take to long to complete and grinding a while is quicker then as a power leveller, you would choose the later. However Zygors Alliance and Horde Leveling Guide keeps this activity to a minimum and you can also lower the grinding phases by following a simple rule.
As you use Zygors Alliance and Horde Leveling Guide you are directed past masses of creatures and mobs. All of these creatures are very often easy pickings. Yet so many people are hell bent on getting to the next mob or quest, they run straight past these guys never giving them a second look, even going round them. Don't !!!!
As Zygors Alliance and Horde Leveling Guide directs you through all kinds of terrain, kill everything you come across, that is within your ability. What you will find is it may take you a little longer to get to each quest, but and this is a great but, those dreaded grinding periods will be oh so short and in various cases non existent, because you will have done any form of grinding while you quest.
Oh and don't be fooled into thinking that there is a guide out there that has no grinding involved at all. Because there isn't one

Brian kopp Alliance Leveling Guide, Joana Guide or Zygor Guides 1 to 80?
Basically Zygor Guides beats Brian Kopp, Joana's Horde Leveling Guide hands down. But how?
Brian kopps is a guide which makes use of addon technology, but to use the meat of the guide you still have to Alt tab out of the game. The addon for your map, which is supplied within the Brian kopps Alliance Leveling Guide, fixes itself to your map of World of Warcraft, however it does not move forward to the next step on it's own. Therefore with the Brian kopps you have to action the guide yourself for what ever point you have reached.
Joana Guide is starting to look aged, since it has'nt included a guidance system that shows players within Wow. It is kept up to date but as with Brian kopp, to get your next steps you need to stop playing to retrieve your information.
Both Joana Guide and Brian kopps are excellently written and precise World of Warcraft power leveling guides, but where they become outdated is due to the way in which the these World of Warcraft Guides are presented to you while in Wow. Rapid alliance and horde leveling is not simply the result of the steps that is delivered to you, but the speed at which you can apply it. With Joana Guide and Brian kopps you lose out on an awfull lot of your game time reading/watching video's before applying. Still has you view Zygor Guides Alliance and Horde Leveling Guide you notice that since every portion of the Zygors Guide is given as you are leveling , you can see that this saves you a mamoth amount of time. You carry on playing whilst making use of the guide, no more exiting out of World of Warcraft leaving the game. You have the equivilant, if not more detail than Joana Leveling Guide and Brian kopp Alliance Leveling Guide. Also Zygors Guide was made for both Horde and Alliance, which Brian kopps and Joana's Horde Leveling Guide do not.

The addon for your map, which is supplied within the Brian kopps Alliance Leveling Guide, fixes itself to your map of World of Warcraft, however it does not move forward to the next step on it's own. Therefore with the Brian kopps you have to action the guide yourself for what ever point you have reached.
Joana Guide is starting to look aged, since it has'nt included a guidance system that shows players within Wow. It is kept up to date but as with Brian kopp, to get your next steps you need to stop playing to retrieve your information.

This is going a little off topic here by placing Luke Brown's Gold Secrets on this page. I rarely do this since i like a page to be focused on what people expect.But........
I have just got this and have to say it is a brilliant Gold Guide for Wow. When you finally get to Lukes page make sure you watch the video. It's very open and honest, he explains how some other gold guide video's are fake by using a private server. But with his video you actually see that his character and bank are real. You'll understand once you see the video.
I will work on covering it better at a later date but just had to slot it in here since it's well worth a look.

Zygor Guides. Grinding a thing of the past!!!
Well they gone and done it! When I thought that things could'nt get any better with Zygor GuidesWell I guess you have sussed from the title that Zygor Guides no longer contains any form of grinding!
But! I here you say was'nt Zygor Guides supposed to be the greatest leveling tool for World of Warcraft? and if so, whwy did it contain any grinding in the first place? since everone knows that questing is the fastest leveling tactic.
Well, I think the answer lies in how the guides were originally written. You see, it was'nt untill a certain time that simply questing in Wow was the fastest way to level your character and still today the quickest way is not to simply quest but to kill everything in your path as you quest.
This si how I think John Cook originally wrote the guide. He would not simply do the quests, but also kill any and all mobs around the quest and on his travels. As I mention above this increases the XP you earn, you would be suprised!!
So if John used this method, but the people who use his guide don't, then of course at a few points in the guide you come up short on experience to ding. This meant that you had to do a small amount of grinding mobs, to reach the current level you were aiming for.
Now I know that for a little while, users have mentioned this and to the credit of the guys at Zygor Guides, they set off to tackle this small anomally. So they totally re-wrote the leveling path, of course much of it stays the same, because you just can't improve on it, but what they have done is to include other quests which, mean you don't have to grind to reach any levels now.
Zygor Guides is now 100% questing, I myself would still advise you to kill everything on your way, you won't complete the questing path quite as quick but your overall leveling time will sky rocket!! and so to will your bank.
There have also been some tweaks made to the guide window but thats for another time.
Zygor Guides. I just can't get enough of it !!!!

- Cracking Lens with loads of info on Zygor Guides. I actually use the guide myself and will say that I definately wonder how I ever leveled a character without it.
If there's anyone who visits this lens and is on the fence when it comes to whether you should go for Zygor Guides or not then belive me now, you will not find a quicker technique or guide.
