"The story begins with a teenage girl who comforts a little girl who is afraid to tell Santa what she wants. The little girl has a brother who sees the girl help his sister. Santa tells her to make a wish because she helped someone else. She receives a mysterious snowglobe on Christmas Day. Move forward several years...The teenage girl now offers assistance to poor women. The teenage boy is now an attorney with a high profile firm and he is the public defender for one of those women. Yes, it can be described as a chick flick and since there are many of us who enjoy these types of films, I recommend this one. The acting is very natural and the family get togethers are lively and entertaining. The love story is interesting to watch as it builds.
