A Cappella 1: When Are You Coming Home?

A Whymsical Search For Self & Truth

I absolutely LOVE comic books and always dreamed as a child of one daw drawing my own.

I am artist, author, and self-publisher for the A Cappella series, which will ultimately have 4 volumes, "When Are You Coming Home?" being #1. Lens on book 2 coming soon, and book 3 is on the drawing table. :-)

Certainly not your typical comic book genre, it is best described as a transcendental, whymsical search for self and truth told in image format.
Book 1 includes 4 short stories.

vol.1: When Are You Coming Home? (you are here)
vol.2: Open Heart

Fear

Is fear to be feared?

What is the nature of Fear?
What role does it play in your life?

Complete Fear story in poster format

"... a wistful energy..."

"... Pointeau's character's musings have a sort of wistful energy, a child's innocence mixed with an adult's analytical need for question."
- Randy Lander, The Fourth Rail

"The story is simple, but not simplistic... A true harmony of imagery with the text..."
- Patti Martinson, Sequential Tart

Thought Fabric

Do thoughts carry energy?

How tangible are thoughts? Do we create our world?
Some believe we are the product of our environment, while others take the stance that we create our own reality.
Hmmm... What do you think?

When Are You Coming Home?

Hmmm... define "Home"

The eternal battle between the physical ego and the spiritual being. Where is "Home?" What is "Home?"
Is there a need for tension between physical and spiritual? Could we not instead, mesh the two in symbiotic relationship?

The Girl In The Grass

"Pointeau asks deep questions about the nature of reality and life."

"In four short stories... Pointeau asks deep questions about the nature of reality and life. I loved the first short story, "What Stories Can You Tell?" Very nature-centric. Shades of Francis of Assisi.

The art matched the meditative nature of the stories... Recommended to fans of Hope Larson, Jennifer Feinberg and Scott Morse."
- Rebecca Buchanan, Sequential Tart
