Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda is a place of remarkable biodiversity, one of the richest in Africa. Over 120 species of mammals, 202 species of butterflies, 27 species of frogs, and 346 species of birds thrive in this beautiful habitat, along with the famous Mountain Gorilla, the Bwindi Gorilla, and several other species of monkey. The incredibly ancient trees of this forest, along with a merging of habitat types and altitude, have allowed an incredible amount of animal species to grow and thrive.
