A Guide to the World of Kindles

If you are in market for an eReader, we would suggest you reading the first lens - Should I buy a new or used Kindle? This is a very helpful lens in helping you understand if a Kindle is right for you AND for helping you decide which Kindle to buy. The options continue to expand with the release of the Kindles with Special Offers (ads). While these are ad supported Kindles, the actual reading of a book is the same as a regular Kindle -- you never see the ads while reading. We own both Kindles and the ad-supported Kindle, in my opinion, is just as good as a regular Kindle. My recommendation would be to purchase the $139 Kindle 3G+Wi-Fi model. Having the 3G is a nice plus and is now more affordable in this Special Offers model.
