A Letter from the Real Tooth Fairy

A more elaborate option is to let your daughter sign up to be matched with her own Tooth Fairy at The Real Tooth Fairies website. My daughter and I checked out this website a few weeks ago, and my child was very impressed. She immediately wanted to call her best friend and tell her all about it.

A parent can help their daughter sign up on the website for free. The girl is matched with her own tooth fairy based upon her interests and personal characteristics. The child can then develop a personal relationship with her real tooth fairy via email correspondence. The child emails the tooth fairy and receives a response via the parent's email with a personalized tooth fairly letter that can magically appear in the daughter's bedroom the next morning.

The website has other interactive features, such as a Tooth Fairy hotel where a girl can visit, decorate her own room, and participate in other activities. There is an upgrade available which your child will probably ask for eventually. The upgrade unlocks more interactive features and makes the experience more fun for your child.

Ah, too cute! I'm thinking, that my Cleveland, Ohio tooth fairy would say in her letter to me: "My dear Julie, I really love all my nocturnal visits. However, it is time you started to brush your teeth like you are supposed to." Or, something like that!

Cute lens! My boys are grown, so I missed the opportunity to do a "Tooth Fairy Letter". You may want to add that option on your poll. True Story: When my youngest lost his first tooth, he put it under the pillow and went to sleep. I did the magical exchange overnight. When I went to get him up for school in the morning...he was on the floor! I woke him up and asked him how he got there. "The Tooth Fairy PUSHED me out of BED!" He exclaimed, incredulously. Te-he...it was so funny. We still don't know how he wound up on the floor. He was never one to fall out of bed,, and I certainly didn't push him out.

Fun Lens. ... "Fear not; I am coming to pickup your tooth and I will leave money in its place. Please keep half of the money for yourself and give the other half to a charity that helps poor children; your dad will help you pick a nice charity. Thank you for your patronage." ......... And, yes, I actually used the word "patronage." I raised biz-savvy kids.

Great idea, something that I would definitely do for my kids.
  • JDWheeler Aug 16, 2011 @ 8:07 am | delete
I think it's a great idea. It can be a "transitional" time for a young child. This will take the edge off.
